I think that this is actually all very coincidental. From now until about one hundred years from now(if this world still exists) any plane that just happens to crash and burn is going to be blown way out of proportion. Of course what happened two months ago is still very fresh in peoples minds, so what are the first things people are going to think about when a plane crashes... ding ding.. its terrorists.

Im not saying its NOT terrorist related, I hope its not.. but for people to jump to conclusions... its all to typical for this hell hole we call earth. Thats why the Ps2 was invented. Keep our minds off all the bullsh*t.

yeah if it\'s an accident why whould they close down everything? before Sep. 11 when things like that happen they wouldn\'t even dare think about close down all the airports and such.  :(

They\'re really pushing this "accident" crap. "Mechanical failure"..Pfft!!!!!!!!!

Oh?

Like the verticle stabilizer (tail) that accidentally had mechanical failure and fell off long before the plane crashed, and has no sign of damage?

Or.

The engine that accidentally mechanically failed and broke off from the wing?

Or.

The flames shooting from the fusalage/wing joint, that accidentally mechanically set on fire?

Or.

The wing seperating from the plane, as the whole plane started to fall to pieces in the sky?

THAT accidental mechanical failure?!?!?

Foolishness.
This kind of total breakdown happens in experimental fighter jets, not established commercial airliners....unless there\'s a bomb/sabotage. Period

For the results of this "investigation" to say anything less is a bold faced lie.

Who knows Cygnus, mebbe a flock of seagulls or somthing got sucked into the engine causing it to explode..... WHO KNOWS!

it is a possibility of a bomb, but was there anyone important on the plane that a terrorist would like to kill?

Not that i know of.

mebbe a rotor in the engine caught on somthing and bent, broke loose and went through the jet engine, damaging diferent parts of the plane.

my point is that we do not know what could have happened to that plane, but we will know soon enough
IM BACK. you have a problem with that? get in the back.

I agree,
even though it might have been an accident, the odds are astounding that this would happen now, right there, not impossible, just weird.

Even if it was a bomb, the Governments economic interests as well as psychological would be to deny it as such, and just smoke & mirror it into an "Accident". IMO.

Well, I do have 10 years experience(USAF and Commercial) working on Aircraft, from engines to fuel tanks and even on the "black box\'s" (C-141, C-5 planes).

Take that as you will.

A Catastrophic faliure of an engine would NOT cause that type of total structural failure.

For a series (2 to 4) of catastrophic failures to all happen at the same time (more or less) is somewhere on the scale of 1:1,000,000,000,000 odds.

Engines can take SEVERAL birds and still at WORST only "flame out". At which point the crew just kills that engine with the suppresion system. That still leaves a whole lot unaccounted for.

(Oh, and knowing what I do about feul systems, and internal wiring of the tanks, the TWA 800 "chaffed wire in the fuel tank" theory is just about as absurd...... but that\'s another story)

It\'s kind of interesting how the tail of the plane chose to come off way before the plane crashed, weird.

It was kinda weird that the plane crashed 3 months and 3 days after my b-day, 3 hours before I was named and seconds before I was deciding to take a pee when I woke up.....

I\'m on to something baby....
