I actualy think that both GC , and X-box both have a chance , they both have great games and are looking good so far , so why slap the 2nd place ribbon on one of those 2 now?

I wouldn\'t say it was an educated guess seeing as how XBox and GC just came out.

Unless I\'m mistaken, didn\'t the N64 have a bigger launch than the Playstation?  If that\'s true, then PS2\'s launch will not guarantee it first place.

unless sony goes bankrupt and stops support of the PS2, xbox and GC will NEVER match the installed user base of the PS2

theres almost 15 million PS2\'s in peoples homes across the world

Guess what mm?  I heard sony was at 20million ps2 sold worldwide and this was before mgs2 came out!!!!!!  Thats why sony came out with those different colored ps2 to celbrate their 20million ps2s sold.  That amazing........

I got my Jet GCN, a Mem Card 59, Luigi\'s Mansion, and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 on Saturday night.  I had Rogue Leader already.  I\'ll be back next week, when I come up for air! :)

No, the last confirmed number of SOLD PS2s is 15 million.  This was back in August though, so I wouldn\'t be surprised if it was up to 17 million by now.  That 20 million number is how many have been produced.  The colored limited edition PS2s were made to celebrate 20 million PS2s produced, not sold.

Ironfist believe or not at ignps2 they CONFIRMED that they sold 20million ps2.  Its hard to believe but its true.......
