Tired of all this XBOX ish

I make $55,000 a year and though I can afford some goodies, I can\'t afford the time towards three systems. Therefore, PS2 and GC is all I can get. But right now, I\'m addicted to Civ3.

Need to prep my semi-race car for next year. All that money will be gone soon!

The funny thing about owning an xbox is that your could spend roughly the same money on a pc that has a higher spec and you allready have access to thousands of games.

Even funnier is the fact that my 1 year old pc is allready better spec\'d (and I mean that in real-world-performance wise) than an xbox, memory/processor/graphics card/drive/sound/internet wise. And it only cost me 450 quid to make (yup even the gfx card).

See if you have limited funds and enough resolve you can source the components at a fraction of the high street cost. This is what a lack of spare funds can do, it makes you refuse to pay the full price for stuff but not to go without (leave that to the people who happily pay for a new car only to see it depreciate massively as soon as they sign their name :).

Finally, I\'d love an xbox, I aint going to deny it.

But  I\'ll let everyone line microsofts pockets first and when they can afford to drop the price, I\'ll move in and get one.

Until then, keep buying, the sooner they get decent cash, the sooner I can benefit!

you have a PC for 300 dollars that is faster than 733mhz? Has a better than GeForce3 card in it? plays DVD movies (with 30 more bucks) etc.

me thinks you\'re full of chit.

I built a 1.4 gHz computer for no more than $600. That includes an Nvidia GTS2 with 64DDRAM, Asus A7A with built in sound card, 256 DDRAM, 40 gig IBM hard drive, 16x16x24 CD burner.

$557 to be exact. Not bad.

Who said 300$?

I\'m talking pounds. (400 pounds once you add dvd support?), just because you don\'t believe it, don\'t necessarily make it untrue.

And \'chit\' means "A saucy girl or young woman".
