Don\'t be so thick.

How many times have I said that I respect your opinion about Shenmue?

My problem with you is your pointless message about how Shenmue sucks, in a thread that has little to nothing to do with Shenmue.

And what exactly is there for you to feel sorry about? That I don\'t know what Final Fantasy is? Or that I don\'t like it? God forbid anyone should have an opinion different from you. Do I go to every thread that even remotely mentions FF or MGS or GT and say how lame that game is?

GManJoe...

Where exactly am I forcing you to play it again? Where did I try to force you to like it? All I did was reply to your message where you claimed it had ZERO replay value and I said you were wrong, which is a FACT! (Bozco, don\'t give me that "differing opinion" crap.)
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

Ugh, the last few FFs have been really tired IMO.  Square should put this cash cow to pasture.
Language services three functions. The first is to
communicate ideas. The second is to conceal ideas. The
third is to conceal the absence of ideas.

A fact? Your opinion is now a fact that everyone must accept? BWAHA! What a cry baby you are. The reason I said that is coz you can\'t accept that I find zero replay value in a game full of eye candy with little enjoyable gameplay. Accept it. It\'s hardly more enjoyable than most Saturn games.

You are pathetic.

You have to resort to bashing Saturn games?

There\'s a difference between having ZERO replay value and NOT wanting to play it again. Not wanting to play it again doesn\'t mean there\'s nothing left in the game to warrant a second go-around.

And it is a FACT that Shenmue has replay value. It may not be a huge value but it is there, nonetheless.

Yeah, one go-around is enough to see ALL Shenmue has to offer.

Face it. Shenmue is not a great game - to me and many others.

And I actually had more fun with Saturn games than with Shenmue.

Someone needs to teach you the difference between FACT and OPINION, you obviously are mixed up

Oh, and not wanting to play it again does mean theres nothing left in the game to warrant a second go around, because he felt the first go around was barely warranted

WOW, it works both ways!!!! Boy, you stupid jackasses have taken it to another level. "Shenmue has less replay value than most Saturn games." Shut the fuck up, really. That has to be the dumbest statement I have heard on this board since old arkamah\'s inane ramblings.

So you guys have absolutely NO merit in judging this game since:

a) you don\'t like Sega
b) you are stupid jackasses
c) You have probably never played more than 20 minutes of it.

Just live with the fact that there are alot of people out there that likes the game, more than a million people bought it, that is amazing in itself for a DC game, especially one as niche as this. Any Joe Schmoe could pick up Final Fantasy XIVII and know what they are doing, this game actually requires patience and understanding. Must be why Yu Suzuki is the greatest developer ever.

How many of you Shenmue bashers have played F355 Challenge? OK, now how many of you have gotten first in a race on it? Even with all the traction control and other racing aids, come on, how many? Oh, none?!??!!? I rest my case. You guys don\'t even give games a chance. You really solely on your fellow ass-pirates to make decisions for you, which is why you will be stuck in middle management for the rest of your lives.

I got Altered all mad at me! Now he\'s calling me a butt pirate and other insults (which only proves that he can\'t win an  argument with me coz his anger typically gets the better of him)!

Just can\'t accept other people\'s opinion, eh? Who\'s the jackass? Oh...you! :p

I always ruin your weekend don\'t I? I can see that I really got under your skin. Goooood. And BTW, again, you\'re assuming too much. I\'ve played F355 on the arcade....spent a load of cash on it before the DC version was out. Love that game.....but wha\'ts that got to do with Shenmue\'s lack of replay value? Oh yeah....it\'s enjoyable....and has replay value...unlike Shenmue! Nice comparison.

And Panzer Dragoon Saga, a Saturn game, was far far more enjoyable than Shenmue. So was a lot of PSX games. If my opinion bothers you, then be prepared for me ruining more of your weekends simply coz we have different opinions.

BAM! Take it up yo ass boyeee, you Best Buy biatch!

Have a nice day! I love this! MWAHAHA!

Alterbeast is a good name for you....coz I make you feel all distorted with anger. *snicker*

Stop acting like such a douschebag.

First you say you liked Shenmue, now you\'re bashing it just to get someone angry.

I liked it up to a point....see that? I didn\'t say it was a terrible game. I\'ve played a lot of games that I enjoyed but had no desire to play over again : FF8, Tomb Raider 2, Okage, Resident Evil 2, Bushido Blade 2(Japanese version), Shenmue....and a few others.

It was a visually stunning game. That\'s it. I was wanting more! But got little. Alas.....you can\'t have everything.

I still stand by my argument that it is FACT that Shenmue has replay value. But if you refuse to play it again, then thats just your preference but don\'t say that Shenmue has nothing else to offer, if you\'ve only completed it ONCE.
