Keep it civil, people...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

What MS gained with XBOX:
People started paying attention to Microsoft
Loses a lot of money
Gets humiliated in japan
More PCs with Nvidia cards
PCs keep the gaming fame they had previously
MS has problems with the chipset developers Nvidia
In some parts of the world XBOX is called "PS3"
XBOX only games give more fame to MS for future console
blah blah bored to think more

Did the playstations total domination for five years suck for gamers? Umm.. No. Not relevant anyway.

Can you please tell me what the ulterior motive is for MS? If it\'s to make money and beat their competitors I would not call it an ulterior motive. I would call it doing business.

If I missed something let me know. I\'m too lazy today to read a long post.

Edit: Ok I read your post again so I guess I understand what you mean. I still say it\'s just a matter of doing business.

I agree. And if my guess is correct, for an xbox fan there is no real downside to this effort being played out, whether you would like to see MS ultimately succeed in the plan or not.

Which is why I should wonder that if Altered really read and understood my so called \'crap drivel\' it would produce such a peevish reaction
