Man, the Raider\'s should have won. I know what the rule book says(now that\'s it\'s been revealed). But the spirit of the rule SHOULD have been used coz the rule is stupid! When you pump a pass and then put both hands on the ball and it\'s knocked out by a defender, THAT IS A FUMBLE! Coz I know Randall Cunningham sometimes will pump, put both hands on the ball and then run WITHOUT tucking the ball against the body!
Raiders lost not because ~they~ lost, but because the refs didn\'t interpret the rule the way the spirit of the game should be. Coz the QB made up his mind not to throw the ball by putting both hand on the it.
However, here\'s another argument :
I know sometimes a quarter back will throw with both hands, like the Steelers do with a shovel pass on occasion.
