Mariah Carey is ok.. Like when she sang Hero, One Sweet Day, those older songs.

Her songs now have gone down the drain. :(

Christina Aguilera has a pretty good voice as well IMO.

Maynard James Keenan from Tool/A Perfect Circle...his voice is so cool. It trips me out.

Christopher Hall from Stabbing Westward...his voice is awesome too.

I know that this is all a matter of opinion, but come on people. The singer from Linkin Park and Staind? They dont even vary their voice

ugh...Linkin\' Park...another so called metal band who get famous purely through marketing and commerical rock

they are worse than slipknot in that regard (although in fairness, slipknot are ok)

and their singer cant compare to the might that is Phil!!!

Chris Cornell is a GOD. I still lament the loss of soundgarden, the only good band to come out of that whole scene, IMO. I\'m just glad nobody said kurt cobain or that cheesed!ck from bush. (unless I missed it...)

I gotta go with my girl Mariah, her songs may lack in quality now, but I dare anybody to say that she doesn\'t have some of the best pipes in the biz, I mean a 7 octave range!  and she has incredible control.

Also in the male catagory, I put my vote to the coolest entertainer of all time, Mr.Tony Bennet.

Awwww, I didn\'t mention my R&B taste because I didn\'t know if anybody here listened to that kind of music, yeah Usher and Aaliyah are good, my fav though is Ginuwine. Tank,KC&JoJo, and R Kelly are all real good also


Oh and to add to my rock list, Lajon from Sevendust, he\'s amazing in Angel\'s Son

ive noticed alot of these r&b dudes like to dance also, and im sorry but dancing just isnt entertaining to me unless its funny dancing. like the charlston or something. like in dumb and dumber where jim carrey puts on that orange suit and comes out of the dressing rooom and dances like a frickin weirdo. i laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed at that for like 2 weeks.
