David Letterman has one, he must drive it somewhere other than a race track.  That and I remember watching a detailed program about it on cable.  They did say it was street legal.  It was a couple of years ago, so who knows if it is anymore or not?  All I know is that I\'ll never get one. :(

I want a neon with one of those cool whale tales that keep the back end on the ground so my front wheel drive car can get some traction.

Wait a sec..  Hmmmmmmm......

mine is between a porsche 911 turbo and/or a ferrari 360 modena, those two cars are just plain nice.  and to videoholic, there is no Altima LS, its "SL", sorry, had to correct, but that car is nice, i might be getting one.  and yes, i heard that the lancer evo 7 is coming to the states, maybe a 2003 model?  also the WRX sti is coming, both cars should be $30k+.

I agree the Altima is lookin good.  The V6 model is a tenth of a second faster than the 6-speed Maxima SE in the 1/4 mile.  And get this- the altima weighs a pound more AND is 15 hp less than the maxima.  Boggles my mind too.

Oh it it\'s around $3k less than the maxima.  And I was all set to buy one too.  Good thing I have this Sport Compact Car subscription handy.  Well the 2003 Maxima is supposed to be all redesigned so we\'ll see how it goes...

You always think of something random to say.
It seems as if the people [casual gamers] that we consider to know absolutely nothing are the ones that actually know the most important thing: Name brands don\'t make the console, games do.

US military Humvees are not expensive at all. They are very cheap but very slow. I think they only have a top speed of 60 MPH. They are strong as hell though. I want one.

Lambourghini Diablo, or the McLaren F-1, but the new Diablo is just as fast as the F-1 so I would take the cheaper version if I didnt have a billion dollars.

i read that article too, but i think its BS.  there is a website, http://www.maxima.org, there are thousands of members on that site that have maxima\'s, and i tell you, your opinion on the altima will change after visiting this website.
there are some new members on the site that own 2k2 maximas, one guy did a 14.4 stock in his auto 2k2 se, another guy did 14.3 in his 6-speed.  i know that those numbers will get better, once the car is broken in, and the driver has better practice launching. i think that the magazine had 14.9 for the maxima.
also, if you saw some dynoes, you will see that the 5speed alty puts down the same numbers as a 2k2 max auto, about 200hp and 205-210 torque to the wheels, howver the 6speed max i have seen put down 210-215hp, and 215-220 torque, not bad in my opinion.
i dont like magazine times, for some reason, they dont feel accurate, but sometimes, its all you have to go by.
