To carry weapons is just too dangerous..... if u end up in a bad situation, u may use your gun..... even though u never planed to...... and what happens if u kill the bastard ? Most peeps here in Norway dont carry guns etc anyway.... mostly knives, and if u first are into trouble.... best thing to do is to RUN

No because I don\'t live in the states so I don\'t have the fear of being mugged all the time.

I usually carry a Spyderco Delica (folding knife), but I don\'t know if I\'d consider it a weapon.  More like a tool.

I\'d definitely carry a gun if concealed carry permits were available here, which they are not.  I rarely feel threatened in good ol\' Kansas, but if I did, I wouldn\'t hesitate to carry a gun illegally.  It sucks that we\'re afraid to defend ourselves for fear of what might happen in court.  Then again, I could probably drop my soap in a women\'s prison without the fear that you guys face.  On a similar note, when men are mugged on the streets, they rarely have to worry about rape.  

In Kansas, if you\'re caught carrying concealed, they take your gun, fine you $500, and you\'re never allowed to purchase a firearm legally for the rest of your life.  A little worse than a slap on the wrist, a little better than a week in the pokey.  I\'ve considered keeping a cheap .38 revolver in the car for road trips.  A tire iron can be effective, too.

Oh, and those hand-held stun-guns, with the teeny little lightning bolt - don\'t work.

Depends on which stun-gun you get, I got one from some mail order place for $60 nd it works great. Fits in the wifeys purse easily. I kno it works b/c one day me and some friends were drinkin and a buddy saw it. He asked for it to be tested on him, dont ask..he is nuts like that..he likes pain, he backyard wrestles, I dont understand him either Needless to say, he was disabled for about 20 seconds or so. That was also on the low setting

well i usually have a nice 4 unch pocket knife on me but not for self defense - just for those times when you need a knife

I own 5 guns, plus im from geogia usa. and we hunt there not really for protection, except for my darenger.

20 gauge; dove rabbit and quail huntin
12 gauge;deer, turkey or bird huntin
22 rifle; squrels and rabbits
30/30 big ass rifle; deer, moose bear
22 darenger pistol; for people that **** with me

the only one that i dont keep in my house is the pistol it stays in my car

I\'ve never gone out with a weapon of any sort. Not even a kitchen knife.

I carry a auto-assist Timberline knife. It\'s sort of like a legal switchblade. I used to keep my Colt AR-15 behind the seat of my truck.  

I usualy have som TNT in my wallet... just for safety. U can never know

All I carry around with me that I can use to hurt someone are my keys and my swiss army knife thing. Almost useless, but I can use them to poke your eyes!

I usually carry my Knife with 5" blade and if Im going out for a fight I always wear my Knukle dusters.

in my car I usually have my 10" blade, and my equalizer a 3 foot steel rod, it hurts like hell!  luckily i haven\'t had to use it yet.
