If Microsoft wants longterm success in Japan, then they need to focus on getting games that target the Japanese audience..
Yah, like "Lets make a Pro Baseball Team! 225" and "Strip Mahjong." Both of those games own everything "American" by the way.
Ryu said DC sold out and it was not successful in Japan. Ps2 launching after dc had something to do with why it was not so successful in Japan.
ok, and the rest of the systems that "failed" over there? *points at the N64, a successful console that was just plain beat there by the PSOne which sold nearly 3:1 in ratio*
This is a trial run for MS, a test to see if they can succeed in this market. If at the end of the X-Box\'s life cycle, the PS2 starts to pull away from it and sell that same 3:1 ratio, you can count on an X-box 2 showing in Japan equal if not worse than the current Gamecube showing. The people remember the good and the bad of every generation.
