Entry glasses are 399 (USD), and the top of the line ones are 1199 (USD).  I think I\'ll wait a year or two, I\'m sure the price of these will come down a lot (a simmilar technology that I purchased two years ago for lucid dreaming is now about 33% of what I paid back then).  It sure would be nice though, you could play games without disturbing people, watch movies, and if u have a laptop, well, that would give you privacy, and the ability to play just about anything anywhere.

Maybe I\'ll invest some into this company, I\'ll have to do some more reasearch on where they want to take this technology.

Personally, I think these things would give you headaches. I mean, having an image half an inch away from your eyes. I think that would cause eye problems if used for longer then 15 mins. I mean, how does your eye even focus that close?

I have tested out these Eye-Trek glasses and it uses some sort of prysms to push the image back (Kind of like the way arcade games use mirrors to fake distance between the player and the screen.)

It really DOES feel like you\'re watching a Huge TV at a distance.  The cool thing is that when the camera pans in a movie you sorta turn your head with it and it feels like you are actualy looking that direction!!!  Cool stuff.
