M$ better keep Nvidia!   If not, who will make those chips?  anyway Xbox has only been out for 4 months and in time gamers will see the great games ahead to come in the next 10 months or so.  Things will change........   ;)

I know Fastson, but people dismiss MS so easily.  All it takes is money and MS has a lot of it.  Things will shake down and you\'d be a fool if you think MS is going to let N and Sony get all the good exclusives.

No company can afford to buy all the exclusives.  All companies will have their share and it should work out to be about even.

M$ needs Nvidia, whether they like it or not.  If something were to fall through with Intel, M$ could still switch to AMD and offer a product that is in many ways better. However, if Nvidia ditches them, the only other major graphics core manufacturer is ATI, who is probably going to climb into bed with Nintendo on a long term basis very soon.

Without Nvidia, the X-box is nothing.

perhaps nvidia should be the one to ditch the other and get on the PS3 project

I think that article is a bit inaccurate. I have Microsoft stock in my IRA and it was not at $49 last Friday. It has not been around $49 in a long time. Maybe they meant $59. Right now it is hanging around $60-$61.

I just looked at Microsofts 3 month financial charts. The lowest they have been at in the last three months is about $57.
