Sega made it very clear that they want most of their games multi-console.  Shenmue and JSRF ports are also rumored, have been for quite some time...

I don\'t have to wait, have both systems...:p

Yes they have.
But right now they made it clear NO xbox version is planned.

We will see at E3 what happens.
Sega has said 50% of their games will be on PS2.

Im hoping they\'ll drop a bomb at E3 :)

SEGAs CEO said it recently.
PS2 gets 50%
Xbox and GC gets the rest, 25% each.

I remember that a swedish site repoted it (well know, well respected)
It was reported on the 19th of Feb 2002.

And I think OPSM2 US had article about it.

Why wasn\'t something like that on IGN, I just went digging throught the last 5 months and couldn\'t find anything related to that.  

Most interviews with Charles B. are reported on sites such as Gamerweb and IGN...

The closest I came to was 17 titles confirmed for PS2,  12 for Xbox, and 7 for GC...but that was way back.

I\'ll treat it as one of those silly little rumors...for now;)

I find it amazing how many fans Sega has now as opposed to when the DC was launched and during its short life.  I have a feeling a lot of these closet Sega fans were once the same ones that where labeling the DC as a POS and Sega was washed up, not to mention saying they had nothing to offer the gaming world.  

Anyway, Sega has always had great games and the DC was a very underrated system.  I bought one 3 days after launch and still play it now and then.  

As far as this topic goes I agree with Rikku, I have both systems and like the exclusives for each one.

Here in Sweden people buy the console with best games (the DC have sold tons here) and it is strange IMO to buy a console and then want an other consoles games.


In the USA the Xbox and the PS2 are the same price.
I do want some of the same games that are on the Ps2 to come to the Xbox , but I don\'t want ports. I want them to be re-done for the Xbox to take advantage of it\'s power.

Let me first say that the x box is the most powerful console on the market but thhere software is lacking there pr people dont have a clue. the x box versions of ps 2 games will be direct port overs not using the x box  power hmm sounds like vapor ware to me x box needs too make a game that drfines the system make me buy it not put out games that have been on ps 2 a year ago omnimusha lol.
they need to make a game that blows us a way and is fun to play microsoft is not a video game fender they have a lot to learn . microsoft get a clue make a game that can only be done on your monster system make it fun  promote it well hell ps 2 commercials make you want to buy them so much are you listening bill or  you to busy trying to buy the video game industry lol

Basically for me, if they are released a year or so later, for a port to be worthwhile they have to be MAJORLY updated.. completely different game practically for me to get it.  Not just better graphics and a few more modes.. which is all these games will be getting (most likely  ;))

but nothing that would inspire me to get an XBox for them when i can play them on my PS2 and enjoy them just as much  :)
