PSX_J if you think that\'s alot for a house, then you should try what I\'ve been doing, checking out house prices in the bay area (cali), that house would go for 400k-half a million.  Needless to say I think I have given up on working for a Police deptartment in the Bay Area, and have setteled on Reno.  For two reasons, reletivly low cost of living, and my best friend moved up near there a year ago.

The thing about this house is that everything is handmade.  From the stair railings built from a tree that fell, to the cabinets in the kitchen.  those are beautiful oak cabinets and I think they were actually created from a bunk bed some guy threw away.

The house is built so freaking rock solid.  It\'s not just a piece of crap house that people build in developments now-days.  This house will last forever.

My bedroom was 12x30.  We had huge bedrooms because he wanted a large workshop underneath.  This workshop could easily be another 3 bedrooms if someone wanted to make rooms down there.

Plus it\'s on a 1 acre lot with real nice homes all around.  Lots alone are going for 90 grand.

The only problem with the house is it isn\'t on the water.  But it is a kick ass party house.  Neon wraps the ceiling in the living room.  Very cool.  The center of the ceiling is a double mirror with lights inside.  Very cool.  Goes on to infinity.

The bathrooms are real nice too.  All marble tile.  I don\'t know why I didn\'t post any pics of that.  Oh well.

Will someone please just go to Daytona and drop bags of cash on them?

It\'s not my preferred type of house but if I suddenly won $1,000,000,000,000,000 I\'d buy it.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAPETIME!

Well see, I live in a small town of bout 20,000 so the only ppl that have houses around here that cost bout a half million dollars (some higher than that) are doctors and lawyers and they had them built themselves.

Bout the highest priced brand new house sold around here is 100, 000.
