BizioEE, I posted this most recent news of MGSX.  Man BizioEE, I can\'t wait to the see the E3 Xbox games.

Acording to the Official Xbox Mag UK, they have spoken to Konami and found out that Metal Gear Solid for Xbox will not be a combo of 1 and 2 like many reports sugested, but Metal Gear Solid 2. And it will be at E3 in some form. Expect the Xbox version to have many exclusive features to it but we will have to wait till the show to find out exactly what they are!

but all i want out of a Metal Gear game is a Spy vs Spy (SMS, C64) multiplayer mode.. that game rocked, and imagine playing MGS2 like that!

This is great and all, but I really wanted a game for my X-box, or should I say my first-person-box, that wasn\'t another FPS.

FPS?  The game is played from the 3rd person perspective and is squad based.

Not from the shots I\'ve seen.  Maybe there is a camera switch mode like in C&C Renegade.

In the trailer for it you can also see that it is 3rd person.  Gaming-Age\'s preview also says it is 3rd person.

after reading a lot of Hideo interviews, its seams like hes wanting to take the MGS series down the multiplayer ROAD.

were everyone online or via lan can play as "Solid Snake", were the strong ones survive and see more of the story line and the Weaker ones only last 2 minuets and prob wont be able to continue

ooseven, I followed that link to where that image is hosted (the MGS site) - it\'s full of crap and is very unrealiable. I doubt that there is any truth behind the things he posted. A quote that I find hilarious:

From a source inside Konami (if I named them they would lose their job...) I have received a short beta movie of the next Metal Gear game. The supplier of the information has They are in the process of creating the new engine, so this video shows their basic ideas using MGS2\'s graphics. The title? Metal Gear Eternity.
The information on it is scarce, but here is what we know (or think we know): You play as Snake, the theme of the game is "free will" and "creating your own life," Solidus returns, and the footage shown seems to be in a dark office building. They also said that the game is more \'up to the player to decide what to do\' and less linear. Things such as interactive environments, multiple endings for the way you play, and \'decision making\' will all play a big role. Kojima is currently involved with the planning, but has said that he will not be the main game designer. I have FOUR screenshots of the Beta Movie below! Expect much more info very soon.

Actually, MGS2 always looked the same. Hideo didn\'t release any renders to hype up the game. You saw on screens what you got (and more). This game is the opposite though - from hyped up renders or what ever they were we get this. If you like it, fine by me - it\'s just not my cup of tea that\'s all.

Don\'t worry about it Bob, he tried to imply that if I\'m disappointed in the screens of Bruteforce, then I had to be disappointed with the MGS2 screens at the time aswell (trying to make a point that in motion the game should look better and that screens often don\'t reflect the final version).

While I give him right to a very limited extend, Bruteforce was hyped up to be the end of all by lots of fanboys. It was hyped up severly through renders and now, the above "in-game" screens no where reflect those beautiful graphics we saw at the time. That\'s why I\'m disappointed - big difference there.
