thinking of getting a gc, any good games??

i was thinking of getting one, mainlyfor the starwars game..but is there any good games??? i meanmst of thegood ones i own/played on my ps2!!!!

please tell me if there is any good ones coming up......


i also played mnkey ball, though i liked it, no sure if i 1p is good

DO NOT get one just for Star wars, its not worth it. I am pretty bored of my GC already, to be honest, I prefered the XBOX (due to Halo). Anyway, I\'m returning my GC tomorrow, mainly cos I bought it to share with my gf, and yous know what happened there.....

There\'s plenty of games coming out later this year.  Resident Evil 0, Super Mario Sunshine, Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime, Zelda, 1080, Star Fox, and more.  Pay attention to Nintendo at E3 if you\'re interested in the Gamecube\'s games.

I personally enjoy Wave Race and SSBM but I\'m not everyone.  StarWars is good but don\'t buy a GC for just it.

I personally enjoyed Pikmin.  If you like those types of games, get that.  Otherwise, there are definitely some great games coming out later this year.  Then again, I chose to get a GC instead of a PS2, so of course I\'m going to endorse it.

I like Sega Soccor Slam......SSB......SMB......Star wars, wave race and pikmin.

I don\'t own one personally, but my friend bought a GC and says Pikmin is really fun.

I\'m currently digging Resident Evil, but before I\'ve had a lot of fun with Star Wars, Super Monkey Ball, Smash Bros, Pikmin, and SSX Tricky.

I also enjoyed Wave Race, but didn\'t get into it as much as the original.

Coming up a month from now is Eternal *drool* Darkness.  To be followed, of course, by Mario, Metroid, Star Fox, Zelda, Resident Evil 0, PSO, Mario Kart, 1080, F-Zero, etc. etc.

Hell, there\'s even a rumor of a Golden Sun for Gamecube some day.  That will no doubt rock.

Namco announced a couple RPGs, too, just the other day.

If you have the cash to spend, buy one.  I did.

You can\'t go wrong with Pikmin, Resident Evil, Super Monkey Ball, Super Smash Bros Melee, Sega Soccer Slam..

Well, I could keep going.

A lot of GCN\'s multi-platform games (like NBA Street) are better than their PS2 counterparts.

Star wars Rouge Leader 2 is Superb
Super Smash Brothers Melee is out soon
and Pikmin

smash brothers and pimkin doesnt appeal to me.... but most of the game that are out on gc are already out on ps2!!!!

How do you know Pikmin doesn\'t appeal to you? Its another of Miyamoto\'s greats and there are a lot of people waiting desperately for Pikmin 2 (myself included). If you still don\'t like it, you can\'t go wrong with Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, Perfect Dark, Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness, Mario Kart, etc. (none of which are on the PS2).

Check out the topic that mm started (he actually liked pikmin).

but like most things in life its better with someone else

its like batting a tennis ball against a wall, it might be fun..but after a while it would be better if you could find someone toreturn the favour

rofl!!!!!! yeah i kinda guessed that!!!! i wasn to sure, how many modes of play is there???? as ive played a few but not all of them
