Metal Gear Solid Games for PS2,PC,xbox

Konami Computer Entertainment Japan, the internal studio headed by Hideo Kojima, reveals its 2002 fiscal year lineup at Game Watch. In addition to some new tennis, BeatMania and anime-inspired games that will never see the light of day in the U.S., two massive titles were announced.

Metal Gear Solid Substance (PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC)
Although Konami offers no details on what this title entails, our sources in Japan tell us that it is a compilation remake of the first MGS, MGS2: Sons of Liberty and the VR Missions all using the MGS2 engine. Hopefully, further details will be announced at E3.

Zone of the Enders 2: The 2nd Runner (PlayStation 2)
This sequel to Kojima\'s space robot action blockbuster will hopefully feature longer playtime and in the U.S., better voice-acting. We can confirm that this title will be at E3.

Oh hell, I shouldn\'t \'ve bought MGS2 so hastily...

ZoE could\'ve been awesome, it wasn\'t. Wonder how the sequel\'ll end up. Here\'s to hoping.

MGS on Xbox in Japan? Hmm... wonder how well this will affect sales, considering it\'s also on PS2... my guess is next to nothing...

I don\'t think Japenese gamers will buy a new system just for some slightly better looking graphics on that game.  

They\'re not like us american\'s who drool over pretty things, are they?  Just curious... I don\'t know.

It will most likely be a port of the PC version.
PS2 -> PC -> Xbox..

Thats how it usually goes

MGS2 has be known to be realeased on the XBOX for quite a long time now, it\'s been going under the name Metal Gear Solid X. But a revamped MGS1 sounds good to me

yeah... well... I have a feeling that Konami has been working on the Xbox version a little while now... just a hunch, nothing more.  But it certainly makes sence to milk a profitible brand on multiple consoles.  Frankly I don\'t care either way... I\'ll play it on my PC or Xbox, as long as one of em has some serious goodyage.
