As for the comment about how it looks like the N64 again. What kind of idiotic statement was that? Did the N64 have a new Metriod? RE exclusive? Etc? No. Does the NGC use catridges - one of the main reasons for the expensive prices for N64 games and lack of third party support? NO, it does not.

As for the "I don\'t care about pikimin" comment..You sound a lot like MM, until he broke down and played it and found out that it indeed is one of the better games out this year.

Think before you post.

;)

game cube brang this bashing upon itself for having like 3 games available at launch and more coming out at a snails pace

ummm it has two exclusive games metroid which i guess is ok (never played it but people say it is good) and re which has been sequeled to death

pikimin one of the better tech demos this year.. .. . .

actually in the begginning i was leaning on the game cube 70-30 but that 30 left doubts in my mind... just wanted to get more opinions

Do you realize you know NOTHING about this industry? You\'ve demostrated this a couple times.

1) Calling Sega games "PC ports" in another thread.

2) Saying Nintendo only has "two exclusive games".  I am thinking you don\'t even realize what first party games are or exlcusive 3rd party games. Let me explain. Will you see Pikimin, Super Smash Bro\'s: Melee, Zelda, Mario, Metriod , Resident Evil, StarFox:Adventures, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, Eternal Darkness, Mario Kart , StarWars:RougeLeader 2 and the list goes on. Does that even look like "two exclusive games"? No, it doesn\'t.

3) There is more than three games out right now. I don\'t need to list them, but I do need to once again say that Pikimin was not just a "tech demo". The game gained critic success and almost anyone who has played it, will admit that it is extremely deep, addictive and fun.

4) If you\'ve never played one of the Metriod games and you thought those Sega games was "pc ports" (sorry, can\'t get over that..) this lets me establish one thing. You started gaming durin\' the 32bit era with the PSone.

LiC: Geez, don\'t waste your breath. This guy is obviously kidding around.

Who could forget about Zelda or Mario? They\'re both so controversial..

...wow...

Nintendo, for your information, probably has the most varried and recognizable 1st party games of any console.  Mario, Zelda, Star Fox, Metroid, Donkey Kong, etc.  The list goes on and on.  Then you have to add anything that Rare makes, which at this time is Nintendo exclusive.  Then add games like Rouge Leader, Resident Evil, etc.

Metroid was one of the most popular Nintendo games during the NES/SNES days.  If you hadn\'t heard of it, then people have every right to question your video game knowledge.  I know I would.

As for 64 remakes, Nintendo has it\'s franchise series.  But how can you call things like Zelda, Star Fox, and so on, 64 remakes?  These are games that Nintendo has worked on for multiple consoles.  They are also games that have not been released yet.  To dismiss them as "64 remakes" is insulting to the games, and the company.  And it makes you look like a moron :p

And if you\'ve never played any Sega consoles, you have missed a hell of a lot.  Genesis was one of the very best systems ever created.  I still play mine to this day as much as any other system.  And by the way, Genesis lasted as one of the top consoles in the industry as long as any other I can remember.

So, yeah, I agree with LIC

well whoop-de-do!  i remember the intellivision coming out in 1977 and than the atari 2600 a year later
does this make me cooler than anyone else?

sega has made a few of the finest consoles ever produced, they are just the pacemakers.  that was thier flaw.  they take the 1st step, and allow everyone else to pass them on the final lap.

if you dont know metriod, you aint crap
but then again, you didnt know nintendo created donkey kong

mm, don\'t forget the Genesis addons..

SegaCD and Sega32X (Both of which I bought... it was the beginning of the end of my faith in Sega... well, for one generation... untill I tried the dreamcast).

To be fair, though, I still have my Master System and Genesis hooked up.  I still play them.  I unhooked most of my Nintendo systems, cause I can emulate them, but there\'s just something about the sega games that demands a TV gaming experience.  Also still have my ol\' TurboGraphix 16 hooked up :).

You said in the same sentence you\'ve been gaming since the 90\'s, but you also said you was a gamer during the NES 8-bit era, which was released in \'85.. Now which is it? You can\'t have both.

You also said you played 50-100 games (rather vague,eh?) but you never played a CastleVania, one of the more popular franchises out there? How did you manage that? You also said Sega systems have the life span of a fly, but you forgot to notice that the Genesis at one point was outselling the SNES and did indeed have a long healthy lifespan. Also, for the record, the Saturn had a long lifespan also considering it continued to have Japanese support with Capcom and other developers late in the life of the system.

You also continue to admit you didn\'t even know who made Donkey Kong, yet you chime in with your dumb comment "rare is going multy part". Now, for the record I don\'t know what "multy" is, I can only assume you mean "multi", never the less you should not qoute RUMORS as facts. Rare is still a strong 2nd party supporter for Nintendo and until E3 comes around and Rare announces offical games for other console platforms, it is just that. A rumor. So, if you know nothing about the industry, I don\'t think you need to start chiming in with any witty commentary / comments, as they are natrually going to either 1) be moronic or 2) null and void.

As for your constant complaining about Nintendo doing "sequels". I guess you never play EA games or any other developer\'s games, as almost all games either are sequels or have sequels. Even the crappy games, like "The Olsen Twin" games.

Fair enough... we understand that point.  What do you say about,

Legend of Zelda 1 and 2 on NES,
Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past on SNES,
Legend of Zelda: Link\'s Awakening on Gameboy,
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Sages and Whatever of Something Else for Gameboy Color,
Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of Time and Majora\'s Mask for N64,
Legend of Zelda for Gamecube,

And hell, there was even one for like 3DO, wasn\'t there?

But then again, how is that multiple consoles?

...

Christ I don\'t even know what the point of that was other than to help correct some of your ignorance.

you know zelda is a girl?

i didnt say i was gaming in the 90s i begain in \'1990\' or somewhere around that time its been a while but it was when mario 1 for 8 bit first came out

ok so final fantasy goes from play  station one to play station two. not really multi console in my opinion unless the same game gets made on a different system made by a different company

(yeah i know final fantasy started with nintendo just trying to make a point)
