User rating system, the idea was brought up once before by someone. I still think its a good idea.

Really?  I never used the thread rating system.... except for a little while when I knew it messed up Samwise (heh heh heh).  

If we do get a user rating system, we need to be able to edit or re-vote from time to time our ratings.

I dont know I sort of like these forums because they are simple.  You know,  not to many bells and whistles...although whistles can make some pretty funny noises, especially those slide ones.

That doesn\'t sound like such a bad idea. Each user could have like there own little poll for people to vote on with a scale from 1-10 maybe. With little comments or something. Then maybe only members with a rating of 7 or 8, with a post count above 500 could get avatars. That\'s just my idea, although it would be pretty hard to pull off.

I like the idea, I seconded it last time it was brought up.  It would be fun for the quality posters, to see how good of a rating they can get.  And it would be fun to screw with #Racer#, and \\/apor Snake.
