and yet the console hasn\'t even sold a million units in the US, or even close to 300k in japan, and I dunno about europe, how can such a pretty looking game, with NO GAMEPLAY sell so good? Welp, DOA3 is a good game, but its just a button masher like soul calibur and so forth. I guess nobody likes REAL fighting games on consoles anymore...

Are you on hard drugs?  Xbox has sold 2 million units in the U.S., over 500,000 units in Europe and 200,000 units in Japan.  Where are you getting your information from?

Just a friend from the IGN boards, whom i talk to on a regular basis, since he tends to keep up with that info, I guess hes smoking to much crack............. I dunno what figures to believe anymore....anyhoo...


Ninja Gaiden on Xbox, hmmm, seems like it would be hard to play it with the pad, but I\'ll hold off judgement til i get to play it for myself.

companies [even sony]  keep sales a secret for some reason

japan sales are well documented tho

whereas ps2 outsells xbox 40-1 some weeks and PS2 and DC outsell xbox

Actually its worst.  The PSOne outsold the x box in Japan

Whether it is doing it now or now I dont know but it is pitiful it ever did it

The game looks too much like DOA3 for me to really give it credit and that\'s mainly because the way that you played Ninja Gaiden had just as much to do with it being fun as how it looked.  Hacking and slashing is fine and all, but what\'s so great about that?  We have a million hack and slash games like that already.  What\'s so fresh and great about Ninja Gaiden other then its first incarnations on the Super Nintendo?  What\'s unfortunate is that the levels don\'t look all that inspiring to play on and the game doesn\'t look all that fun to play.  The different moves where off over time as does running up walls and throwing ninja stars.  With so many ninja games coming out (Ninja Gaiden, Shinobi, and Tenchu III) what makes Ninja Gaiden, other then its graphics, so special above the rest?  I guess we\'ll see later at E3, or later as more information is revealed.

Yeah, I\'m not excited about this game either.  It looks good, but I doubt it\'ll be the NG we all loved.  At least it\'s not cell shaded ala Zelda.
