How bout Morrowind?  You\'re just claiming you know what the game is like...you haven\'t played it.

you wouldn\'t have to play it to know.

PC\'s > Consoles

PERIOD!!

I\'m not getting into the whole PC vs. Console thing...

I\'m talking about a specific game, being Morrowind.  You said that the port was not even close to the original...and then give no details as to why.

I asked you how far off or what are the differences...I have yet to hear an answer from you!!

CHUG CHUG CHUG goes the X-Box

Smoth as the wind goes the PC

that\'s the difference.

I really hope you\'re not as dense as your post...

When does it chug? All the time? During battles? When you\'re talking to other people? When you load?

You keep saying the same thing but don\'t back it up with anything...well, except PC>Consoles :nerd:

While walking around, you may freeze a moment, walk and it freezes again, this is what I consider CHUGGING along.  Just walking through the game when more then two or three characters is on the screen causes your game to slow down.  WHAT A POWERFUL AND OUTSTANDING MACHINE X-BOX IS!!!  I mean wow, it\'s really showing off it\'s celeron proccessor there.

Billy, where\'s your proof?  Don\'t you at least have a quote or something to back up your claim?

How do you already have impressions of a game nobody else has played?

i played it for about 15 minutes last night

brought it home from work, laughed at the paltry textures
remapped a couple buttons on the controller, it froze

i restarted, tried again to remap a few buttons, it froze
drove 25 minutes back to work, got WSB2003, drove 25 minutes back

played WSB2003 for a few hours, got bored
went back to MOH:F

all\'s well that ends well

The game never froae on me when I remapped the controls.

The texture quality looks just as good as the screen shots, it\'s just the draw distance that is horrible.

MOH:F is no graphical gem either.

there you go with yer "knee-jerk" insult to a PS2 game
do you have these one liners written next to yer desk for quick reference?

MOH:F possesses something that morrowind couldnt dream of having.

a compelling reason to play

and it gets double the FPS that morrowwind does

thats enough for me

MOH:F runs at 30 fps (although it does drop).  Textures are bland and blurry.

It\'s your typical FPS, nothing more.  I played it for the entire three days, but I really like FPSs.  You can\'t tell me you are playing because of the graphics.  It\'s especially tiresome if you\'ve played MOH for the PC.

This is a typical EA rush job, and you get a typical EA game.  Playable, and at times a lot of fun, but falls short of anything great.

any debate i get into about a MOH will be jaded

moh 1 and 2 are a couple of my all time fav FPS\'s on any system

moh:f could run at 4 fps, use 6 textures, and have one voice sample saying "MM SUX0RS!" looping over and over, and i would still hail it as an A+ title

the console moh titles just have so much atmosphere that should make someone overlook graphical shortcomings

a fps like halo doesnt have the atmosphere too fall back on, so it absolutely must rely on visuals.

I can argue with that, but we\'ve been around that far too many times.
