Know why Soccer/Football will never be as big as MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL in the USA?

Because those sports bring in the money with commercial breaks and there are no breaks in soccer.

Make alot of sense.

Professional sports are a business and not much of a sport anymore.

And the fact that most americans find soccer a joke.

That isn\'t it at all.  Olympic hockey did rather well, and there weren\'t breaks in that either.  They just stuck commercials in there anyway.  The reason that we don\'t like soccer as a whole is we are an impatient society.  We can\'t sit through a 1-0 game that takes that long.  We need things like Basketball, where you score every so many seconds, or Baseball and American Football, where you can clearly see when a team is progressing towards a score.  The only reason we tolerate Hockey is the hitting involved  It\'s sad, but true.

It\'s no oppinion, it\'s a statement. Generally speaking, there are exceptions of course, the USA has no concern for Soccer. If we win US interest in the sport can really be improved.
