We are pissing away resources and Earth\'s life span is gradually decreasing. Not in our life times, but I give Earth only 150 more years until the human race is extinct, from causes to war, or just shooting ourselves in the feet.

Flag waving....the top of the flag had support to keep it unfurled. The "waving" of the flag is from the astronaut adjusting the post. And since there\'s no friction up there and a complete vacuum....the flag kept waving and waving and waving....


They taught us this in 6th grade. Sheesh people!

If your minds are so readily impressed by sensationalism....perhaps you should go to http://www.snopes2.com

Then why would you call others morons for believing it (and put them on the same level as those who believe in bigfoot and the \'fake\' moon landing)

??  Even though its a strong possibility that life does exist, just because you dont believe it, EVERYBODY else has to be a moron??

The moon landing hoax was a result of the cold war.  You see the US and Soviet Union were in this cold war/make nuclear weapons dealy right, but there was also a competition of the space race.  The Soviets had the 1st man\'d spacecraft, 1st women in space, 1st to orbit the earth, 1st satelittes, everything!  The US then made up the landing in an attempt to show the US was more advanced to gain an advantage in the cold war.  

Then in Apollo 13, we really tried making it to the moon, and you seen what happened.  Eventually, I believe we were the first to make it to the moon but I feel that it was Apollo 14, and not 12.

remember kennedys speech about going to the moon before the end of the decade, in \'67 nasa had an accident where astranauts were killed on the ground, delayed them longer, but some miraculous way they go to the moon in \'69, 1 year before kennedy said they could

They didn\'t have the equipment to make a movie like that in the 60s. It would have looked totally fake. We landed on the moon. If we go believing everything on FOX, this country will be full of morons that can\'t spell their frickin\' name. I never believe any documentary on FOX because they never know what tehy are talking about. THey don\'t even have good programing. Only Family Guy and Simpson\'s are decent and they already cancelled Family Guy and Simpson\'s are going next year. What about the rockets that were lifted off with the astronauts? If they went somewhere else on the planet, they would have been discovered. Any idiot could spot a rocket flying across the sky. The only place they could have gone was space.

We will all soon find out if we went to the moon - coz the japenese or chinese(i can\'t remeber) r sending a powerful telescope to orbit the moon(in year i think), and examine the moons surface in detail so they will look for the flags.:)

Then according to you, I am a firm believer in crop circles. Of course I am not, but I am confident that we went to the moon. The problem with the Russians, is that they had multiple engines (30, to be exact) on their Moon Ship, to the Americans 5 (Saturn Rocket). One of 30 goes down, it all goes down. One of 5 goes down, it goes down, but you have better odds.

We got there, Russians had some problems, but we got there, no less. Yes, Apollo 1 Failed, but 8 and 9 didn\'t. We just had a lot of money put into Nasa (Thanks to Kennedy), so we got it done.
