Free? Again, it\'s egocentric and reductionalist. I live in Canada, Everything I make gets taxed at a rate of about 40-45%. Then whenever I buy anything, I get taxed again at 15%. When I cash my RRSPs, they\'ll get taxed another 15% (that\'s already taxed income getting taxed again).
You say Canada has free healthcare, I say I more than pay for it. Thanks.
I paid $2000-2500 for education. Sure it\'s a little cheaper, but you can take you degree anywhere, nobody has heard (or cares)about any university in Canada with the exception of perhaps Toronto. Plus all that tax I pay doesn\'t hurt either.
