not exactly...it\'s too early to deliver a honest judgement on the XBox...though Halo has impressed me for a launch game...

I bought Morrowind. I had to wait a few extra days after it\'s release because it  sold out in a hurry here. I played it for about 4 hours. I have no real problem with the game ,but I did return it. I guess RPG\'s are not my thing. I was hoping it was gonna be like Halo with swords.  Hehehehehe. To much wandering about and getting my ass kicked by creatures. I did have some fun going into the little shops and killing the owners and stealing all their goods though. Anyway took it back and got 007 Agent under fire, Nascar Heat, and Outlaw golf. I need action in my games.
Xbox - live it......

you traded in genius for AUF?!?!?!

As Dudley would say "You have no dignity."

The members of PSX2Central must be the most hardcore gamers in all the land, because even though most of you don\'t own an XBox, you can make negative assumptions of a game on it, even though every review to come out thus far has been mid-8\'s and higher. I guess us 1337 players can only play 9.5\'s and above!

I own an X-box, it\'s really cool to look at when my friends come over.

I don\'t get this, still. Never will, so my beans I shall spill :

Yah, we\'re sooo fookin\' hardcore, me especially, since I don\'t find more than one interesting title worthy of my time at the moment (Halo), and mid-8\'s? Oh give me a break, there\'s always that personal factor, that either adds or deducts a number between 2-9 (or less or more, if you\'re really *****y) from the total score. Hell, I could score a game that scored perfect 10/10, 100%, 5/5, Five wombats/a fookin\' big heard in most places, something like a 8- (I\'m talking about Ocarina of Time here, and some of the scores Scandinavian game magazines gave it, save the wombat one).

IT DOESN\'T MATTER! NOTHING MATTERS! I\'M SICK AND TIRED OF THIS CRAP! Whatever someone writes, another person disapproves, contradicts, jumps at. What the hell is the point of forums like this anyways...

And for the record, I can make negative assumptions of whatever the heck I want (:D), and you can\'t do a thing about it. Maybe avoid me, sound like a plan?

[IMPORTANT NTOE!!!!!111] Oh man, I just read that playing Morrowind makes you really hardcore, I\'m not hardcore?!?!! *panic, obeys TXB*

Someone inform me if I didn\'t make any sense, I\'d like that.

Aww heck, I suggested you just avoid me but you didn\'t... *throws himself on the floor and bites yer leg*

No I\'ve never played Morrowind, maybe never will, doesn\'t seem like a game that would appeal to me, much (see, a semi-negative assumption, mwahhhahaa!). What\'s your point there?

My point = people are different, and all we type here is in vain, there\'s no point in any of this mindless debating and inane discussions about some stoopid interactive entertainment that\'s been deviced to rot our brains and turn us into mindless, decomposing, flesh-eating zombies. Others like, others hate... I like meat *takes another bite of Eric\'s leg while decomposing on the floor*

If FFXI is the sole object of your lust (as the case is with me), it isn\'t that great of an investment, really...

I don\'t know what to say. I\'m not an RPG player but Morrowind change everything! The RPG elements are deep! With over 500 hr of gameplay, from creating your characters to making potions I say this is the most wide open adventure ever made on a game system. Creating your characters form 10 races and seeing what each ones has unique abilities. Picking a Class for your character is also important. It will bring what your skills are in Major, Minor and Miscellaneous items.

There is Classes made for your like Warriors, Barbarians, Knights, Scouts, Mages, Healers, Spellswords, Nightblades, Rogues, Sorceres all with it\'s own unique skills. WOW! Oh and the Birthsigns you pick will have a out come too. Getting Armor for your character is not that easy as you think. You start off with only a shirt and pants. You have ether earn money to buy armor at armor shops or kill, steal them. Oh if you good, you can pick pocket people for money. LOL! You can steal from houses or any place you can but don\'t get caught. I\'m now have a full Bonemold armor. I had to kill a guard to get it. LOL!! There is more better types of light, Med and heavy armors like Glass, Indoril, Ebony and etc. So many parts of armor you can put on and you can mix them up with different armor too.

Here\'s a list of the armors.

http://www.angelfire.com/hi5/freemoney/armor.html

Bonemold Armor

Working my way to get a full Indoril armor.  I\'ve seen some guards with this armor but I\'m not to strong yet to kill them.

I got some great weapons but I\'m trying to get more cool ones like the Glass, Dwarven, Ebony and many more!  I\'ve notice when you go to different towns, you will see guards with different weapons and armor.  Cool!!  Hers\'s a list of the weapons

http://www.angelfire.com/hi5/freemoney/items.html

Here\'s a Dwarven

Here\'s a Glass

Now Spellmaking, Enchanting items and Potions are very very damn uique!  WOOO!!  I don\'t know where to start!!

All I can say Morrowind is so big it will suck your life out!! LOL!! Oh you also can become a Vampire too.  :eyemouth:

Here\'s some info on Vampire.

Quote
Vampire stat boosts and disadvantages/advantages include:

20 point boosts to: Strength, Willpower, Speed. 30 point boosts to Sneak, Athletics, Acrobatics, Hand-to-hand, Unarmored, Mysticism, Illusion, Destruction. Those are the Base Stat boosts all vampires receive. Choice of clan will offer ADDITIONAL boosts that WILL stack. For instance Clan Berne gets a 20 point boost to sneak. Add that to the 30 you ! already got just for being a vampire-so in essence you get a 50 point boost to sneak. All vampires are immune to paralysis and common disease. They also get a 50% resistance to normal weapons.

All vampires also get 2 spells: vampire touch which drains health from a foe and transfers it to you. Vampires are SUPOSED to also get a much more potent longer lasting/cheaper costing levitation spell-BUT-you DON\'T. Yet another bug that needs to be patched soon. Sunlight will kick your ass and if you\'re a vampire. It will gradually go down the longer you\'re in it. something like 5 points per every second.

Cloudy/overcast days won\'t be so bad. You\'ll also take less damage from it underwater. Virtually everyone hates you...so don\'t expect anyone to talk to you or offer any services to you. Vampires can NOT fast travel. (cheat and use the recall spell) Sleeping will NOT regain health for you. It will allow your fatigue and magicka to recover. Completing enough quests for your clan will a! llow you to have acess to their services...sort of...why do i say that? Bugs. Clan Berne offered me No services even after the head of the clan said I now had access to them for completing quests.

Clan Aundae allowed me access to their weapon smith and alchemist. The other services were absent. I\'ve yet to try the Quarra Clan. If anyone finds out if they work/don\'t let me know via email of this site\'s forum. Also you CAN get cured of vampirism in Morrowind, and once cured you can\'t get re-infected. Ever...unless you start a new character. Mages will be more friendly towards vampires. They\'ll talk to you but will not allow you to use their services...even if you\'re a member of the mages guild. Until the game is patched you\'ll want to buy all of the spells you want/need before you get infected. No one in the Berne or Aundae clan would sell me spells. Vampires can complete the main story but it won\'t be easy at all.
