And if it isn\'t, and the refs "screw up" yet again...somebody\'s goona die, Rah!

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

ROL Jamas, if Germany looses with another referee scandal... Blatter will have to resign.

Refs don\'t decide games, players do

Man, I\'m starting to get sick of this world cup thing.  More whining about the Refs than the NBA.  And that\'s really saying something. :o

Yeah, I know.  I\'ve been there, trust me.  That\'s basically just my way of looking at things...during cooler times.

It\'s nothing personal or anything.  I just see how clubs are going to court over blown calls...that\'s taking it way too far.  Reffing is a lot harder than it looks sometimes.

I agree absolutely buddy. But many clear mistakes, in many matches, and in favour of the same team... it smells bad... isn\'t it?

Let\'s put it this way: If I didn\'t defend Sacramento after game 6 of the western conference finals this year, I\'m not going to defend Italy or Spain against South Korea.  There were far more horrible calls in that game.  The plays were close that were called incorrectly.  Something like a soccer match is hard for the Refs to fix.  Oh well, whatever.  I still think it was just coincidence.  I\'ve seen much worse (once again, Ray Jones Jr. in the \'88 Olympics)

I didn\'t see that basketball match... I don\'t realy follow basketball, but I heard something about the referee...

I also thought with the first mistakes that it was only coincidence... but after finishing the match... nobody could accept that.

Yeah, I know you prolly wouldn\'t have followed basketball.  Just an example.  Anyway, I saw the Spain-South Korea match.  I thought that both calls were actually kind of close.  Sure, when you look at replays, from good angles, often in slow motion, it is easy to make a call.  When you are the actual ref though, making call after call in real time, with no replays, from all sorts of angles, you\'re bound to miss a few.  This was just the way things fell in this match I guess.  I could see how someone could make the mistakes the refs did on all the blown calls in that game.

You sure friend? Ok, I respect you.

They should use movie players to see replays. I believe that there\'s something like this in any sport in USA, I heard about it, bot not sure, am I right?

Yeah, they recently added in an instant replay in our football league (american football...woo!).  Each team can challenge calls that they feel were made incorrectly, and the refs review the plays on a television screen.  It has actually worked well so far.  Perhaps something like this should be used in soccer too.

Yeah, and aren\'t they thinking about adding it to the NBA. For buzzer beater shots or something. I heard they were talking about it, haven\'t heard anything about it since.

They were discussing it for the last play of a quarter.  They also do have limited instant replay for hockey.

But shockwaves... in your football, can the referees watch the replay all the time? Or have the teams a number of chances?
