Yeah, your right, he got so bored around the house he couldn\'t wait for me to make enough money and get one, so now I got a new PS2 without even doing much :cool: . But now he uses it more because he always says "I bought it you idiot!". Then I have to wait until he\'s done to play :mad: . But at least I get to play when he\'s at work so no biggie ;) .

I\'ll buy that Adapter no matter what the price!:D.....or my brother will!:laughing:

Well, it\'s not a huge difference, you would be able to tell from afar but there are a few things different from the model I got at Launch (Oct 2000) and the new one I have. For example the fan used to be covered by some type of net but now it\'s gone and also the vents in the front are re-arranged. Nothing big but they probably did it for some reason I don\'t know of.

I knew about the vents but I didn\'t know about the fan. The net is sort of good though. It collects the dust instead of going in the console.

The internals are a little different on newer versions.  Always gotta find a way to make the Ps2 cheaper using less materials.
