Note: Teams with a (*) next to them are wild card teams
AFC EAST:
Miami - Take a team that\'s major problem last year was an inability to run effectively, and add Ricky Williams. What do you get? AFC East Champs
New England (*)- The defending champs won\'t have the same soft schedule they had last time around.
Jets- They god hit hard in the expansion draft, but they also made some good signings. Cowart, if healthy, will help a lot on D, and Martin is still one of the best RBs in the NFL.
Buffalo - They added a QB. Maybe next time they\'ll add a running back...or a defense.
AFC NORTH:
Pittsburgh - They are the type of team I like. Strong defense, power offense. They will repeat in a weakened division.
Baltimore - Yes, Jamal is back. Grbac -can\'t be worse than him. That means the offense could only get better, even without Sharpe. The defense took some hits, but I think they are still better than the Browns.
Cleveland - Couch played better last year, but the team is still young, and has no huge stars. The defense is good though, and if they get their running game going, they could be ok.
Cincinatti - I feel sorry for the city, and for Dillon. The team can do nothing right (just look at their draft this year).
AFC SOUTH:
Indianapolis - The defense will get better under Dungy. James is back, and they picked up Quadry Ismail to go opposite Harrison. This should be a very strong team.
Tennessee - After all these years, I finally get it. Eddie George never was a great RB, he just had the best blocking FB in the NFL to run behind. Then O\'Neal goes to Cincy, and George falls apart. If the defense gets back to where it once was, this team makes the playoffs. If not, they\'re just another disappointment.
Jacksonville - If Taylor is healthy, he could have a great year. Too bad the rest of this team won\'t.
Houston - They could be pretty good for an expansion team, but they\'re still an expansion team.
AFC WEST:
Oakland - Great defense, a very good passing attack, and 2 solid running backs. There is no reason not to put them here.
Denver (*)- They bring back Sharpe, and McCaffrey is back. If he stays healthy, this is one of the best passing attacks in the NFL. You also have a very deep running attack. The defense has declined, but if they stay healthy they make the playoffs.
San Diego - They have a better coach, one who really should still be back with his old team. Tomlinson is for real too. They don\'t have enough to make the playoffs though. Not yet at least.
Kansas City - I happen to disagree with \\/apor here. Priest Holmes is a good RB. Trent Green will be better this year. They should be better overall, but they need more players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NFC EAST:
Philadelphia - Mark this down now. This is my pick for Super Bowl champs. McNabb keeps getting better, and the defense is really good.
Washington- Let me read their LBs to you: Trotter, Armstead, Arrington. This team made a run at the end of the year last year, and have an incredibly solid defense now. They have a solid RB, and a good coach. Spurrier thinks that Werful (SP) can compete at the NFL level. If he, or Banks, is even decent, this is a solid team.
NY Giants - They lost a lot in the off season. Collins is not a big game quarter back, and John Fox is gone. Armstead moves on as well. This team is sinking fast.
Dallas - The Cowboys are going to have a huge moment this year: Emmitt Smith should break the all time rushing record. Not much else will happen here though.
NFC NORTH:
Chicago - The best defense in the NFL. Thomas will only get better at RB. They upgraded at QB. Why wouldn\'t they repeat?
Green Bay (*) - Favre is still the best QB in the NFL. Terry Glenn is still a distraction at best. They might make the playoffs, if they don\'t hang Glenn first.
Minnesota - Carter is gone, the defense still sucks. Moss will have a great year, but they still have no RB, and are getting thin all around.
Detroit - This team will be dangerous. They have Schroeder and Hakim at WR now, and Joey Heisman to play QB. Perhaps in a few years...
NFC South:
Tampa Bay - They add McCardell opposite Keyshawn. Gruden will not let the offense struggle like it had. The defense is still solid.
New Orleans - I still like Brooks a lot, but the team lost it\'s best player, and didn\'t make the playoffs last year. They won\'t this year either.
Atlanta - Vick is still a couple years away. I think they have some other players on the team, but I\'m not sure.
Carolina - They stole John Fox from us

They deserve this last place finish!
NFC WEST:
St. Louis - There is a way to beat the Rams. Ask the Bucs, Eagles, Giants, and Pats, who all seemed to be able to slow down the greatest show on turf. I personally think the team is soft. Put them in a game like the Pats Raiders one last year, and watch what happens. They better hope they get homefield. Teams that played tough games on both sides of the field seem to get to them.
San Francisco (*)- Garica and Owens are the best passing combo in the NFL. Hearst proved he is back. They just have to hope the D can keep improving.
Seattle - Dilfer knows how to win. Alexander ended up being an incredible back. The team is really pretty good, and in a couple years, who knows?
Arizona - Come on, they\'re the Cards. I don\'t think you can under rate them. You just over rate them. Sure they have Boston, but they have Plummer throwing to him. They won\'t do anything.
==============================================
And the NFC West the best division in the NFL? Not even close. It still has to be the AFC East.
And I really like the Skins. I think they have a chance to be this year\'s Pats.
