GT Concept has "The Most Amazing Intro I have ever seen"

Woah, that looks incredible...! What I find most cool about the intro is that Polyphony at last put some decent electronica sounds in it. Biggest flaw of the GT series have always been the music (here in Europe anyway)... if you American\'s prefer rock while doing some serious racing - fine, but that doesn\'t fare well overhere in Europe.

Well that has to be a huge let down.. I was hoping for amazing graphics and effects and tracks and everything..

all I got was a quick video that wasnt even using in-game models

So your complaining because its rendered? Geez Bob, do you know how long it would have taken to create that minute of footage? Lets just say it would have taken ages. Theres some serious ray-tracing in that footage, and it looks even better in the real game (I just got it).

The other reason its so cool is because of the concept. Having a massive plane fly directly over a sweet looking car. Very cool. Simple, but cool.

I\'m with Bob, you all are being amazed by a cinema. I\'ve seen plenty of crap games with great cinema\'s also. Did I get excited with those games? No.

There just is no logic to it.

But this is one of those games that is actually good.

We are talking here purelly about the quality of the cinama, that is not, not about how it completes the actual game. Forget about the game, this topic is purely about the FMV. Its a great concept.

As for the game, well it rocks too. I have no doubt that Polyphony could have done the intro real time with a bit of tweaking. Sure, it wouldn\'t have looked as good (as to be expected) but it could have been done. The game also has better graphics then in GT3. The new cars have a much higher poly count, and the game runs at a higher res.

Wow, absolutely awesome... GT4 with these graphics and online mode... wake up Adan!

Genova - is probably "Geneva" in japanese and that\'s where the Swiss Automobil Salon is in March every year. You know, the game features concept cars showed at the Auto Mobil Salon from Tokyo to Geneva.

I thought the video was sweet... however the best intro I still think is Chrono Cross and Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

I love the techno soundtrack, pitty its not avialable in the game.
