Sega GT 2002 is a rushed effort at giving the XBOX a decent racing sim.

GT 2002 is a disgrace to SEGA, plain and simple. The game is not only an obvious clone, but a clone that makes no significant attempt to improve on the original. Oooh, look! You can decorate your garage! GOTY GT3 Killah!!!!!!!

Guys, it\'s not a horrible game--it\'s getting good reviews (solid 8s or higher).  For people who like this type of game, it\'s not that bad.
Language services three functions. The first is to
communicate ideas. The second is to conceal ideas. The
third is to conceal the absence of ideas.

It looks good, but not great. Because its on XBOX, I expected fully 3D trees, buildings and environments (like, wheres a waterfall or something unique?) I mean, they keep telling us how XBOX can throw around so many million polys, then why can\'t they prove it??? Watch the vids from IGN and all I see is these 2D tree cutouts that have been fused together in the middle, facing different angles. Geeez, RRV, a PS2 launch title had 3D palm trees, why not this???

Looks pretty sweet from those screens. If it looks like that in motion, then I might have to buy an XBOX.

When is the US launch? What about the UK/AUS release?

Looks like they finally put some more work into the backgrounds. Looks ok now. But if it still plays like the first one ,then I´m out.

Those pics posted by pstwo...looks mostly like REPLAY shots to me...except maybe the last two which doesn\'t looks impressive at all. In fact the second last shot is a night time shot and the lightning and reflection just isn\'t there.

Anyway...GT bores me...

to me, those look like renders or downsized images. I\'d be very suprised if the game looks this clean.
