Really though, mm, you are getting behind.

I don\'t think Capcom is worried about Sales, and neither is MS, Capcom receives a hat full of money and MS gains Japanese respect, it was a mutual agreement that this game will not sell over 40k worldwide.

Or perhaps Capcom was trying out their technical arm, though? The game is DAMN impressive looking and very interactive, and they are already talking about online multiplayer for Tekki 2.

Or maybe since Capcom knows that anyone that owns an XBox in Japan has got to either be rich, hardcore, or a combination of the two, it is guaranteed some sales. Hell, it got number 4 on the Japanese daily chart. Of course, it is a day in which a GC game leads and there are 2 XBox games in the top 5, so it has got to be a pretty strange day overall.

Can\'t wait for November, this will be MINE, especially if BB carries it, which means nice discount. :D

The only way Microflops could make this deal appealing, is to shift the decimal point one place to the left...and to have the posters to show this.

Actual Size ......honest

You\'re hilarious...
July 2002: If you had bought $1000.00 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00. Enron, $16.50 left. Worldcom, $5.00 left. If you had bought $1,000.00 worth of Budweiser beer one year ago, drank it all and turned in the cans for the 10 cent deposit, you would have $214.00. Based on the above, my current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

gimmick? Because it is on XBox?

Hey You! Pikachu, Seaman, and SOCOM are all gimmick games because of the microphones?

I think it looks cool. :)

Not that I\'d ever shell out that kind of money for one game though.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAPETIME!

You have crossed the line into \'angry consumer\'. You are no longer a gamer, I am sorry.

What does price matter? If anything, it being as expensive as it is makes it LESS of a gimmick. The game looks cool, and if Best Buy carries it, I will definitely buy it, especially if the sequel has online play, like they have discussed previously. Piloting a mech just sounds so frickin cool and it got a 37/40 from famitsu, better than Mario, Phantasy Star Online, and even you!

Don\'t knock on it because you have neither the funds nor the space to purchase this game, obviously someone has, since it was 4th on the daily charts when it came out, behind only PSO and Sega GT 2002.

 @ Ooseven. Yet another, "I\'m joining the thread, just to get my MS bash in" comment...But, anyways..

Yeah, I\'d pay $250 for this. We\'ve already been over this. I like Mechs, I love Capcom and I\'m a "collector" , as you called it Mm. It\'s my duty to shell out the cash for the game.

It is obvioulsy not marketed towards the general Joe-Smo audience, but who cares? If someone has the cash for it and it has the solid Capcom gameplay that I expect, than I think it\'s money well spent.

collection and obsession are two different animals

piss 260+$ away

makes no difference to me

i can buy 5 other non-gimmick titles that dont come with a future dust collector

OR, buy PC mechwarrior that you already have a 106 key controller, AND already has online play

I admit that for the most part it\'s not a wise purchase, but I am slightly obsessive when it comes to Capcom. It\'s one of those things, that I\'ll buy and anytime I\'m showing off my collection I will pull it out and explain how I paid out of the ass for something that really wasn\'t worth it. I can\'t help it, I love doin\' that.
