The fact is that the Cards lineup is better. Do you not see that?
As for the pitching, Schilling and Johnson are better than any Braves starter. They will be 1-2 int he Cy Young vote again. If the Cards can beat them, they can beat the Braves pitchers.
And trust me, I know the Braves lineup. They aren\'t as good. And by the way, if a player is hot for a week, then aren\'t breaking out of a season long slump. The season long numbers are the norm for him, and he is just hot for a small period of time. Nothing more. It will pass.
And by the way, was it not Maddux, Glavine, and Millwood that were hammered by a similar Cards lineup two years ago? You have yet to tell me why that won\'t happen again.
This, from the same person that said that the season meant nothing, but it\'s the playoffs that count. Hypocricy AGAIN!
Yes, it is the same 3. First round. Hurrah. Braves were weak at the time -- Millwood had a dead arm. But oh, it\'s back now. Hell, I think, as of right now, Millwood is the best pitcher they got.
As for tonight, Glavine is the pitcher against the pitcher with the 2nd most losses in the NL. Hmm.
Good for Randy, good for Curt. Curt was shaky down the stretch, and gave up an entire 2 runs to the Cardinals, and lost. That\'s not his fault, it\'s the offense\'s fault for not giving him any support. Morris is hittable, despite the D-backs futility against him in Game 2. Hell, the Cubs shelled him in a Sunday Night game this year...only for Antonio Alfonseca to give up 6 runs in the bottom of the 9th and the Cubs to lose 10-9.
Again, Braves in 6.
See Yuz.
