Best looking game. On ps2?

To me it is almost as if GT 3 is the best looking game on any system.  If you simply add in all the details.. Graphics and gameplay for the graphics.. example the weight and phics.  are all outstanding.  One other thing hardcore gamers may have noticed is the silky smooth framerate.  I have never experienced it dropping one single time in the game.  While other games may have lots of slowdown at points or just some in areas for certin reasons (smoke, too much on screen) it seems like in GT3 no matter what it is rock solid.  Another thing that really stands out is the anti-aliaising.  Now if you take an xbox game for instance most games look better than thier ps2 counter part.  If you play rallisport however the dust kicked up looks like crap.  Also for some strange reason you can see jaggies on the car models.  The weight distrubtion on the cars is also flawed.  Now if you got back to GT3 you can easily see how silky smooth the anti aliasing loooks.  Also pay attention to how the car handels.  For a nice comparsion try out a subaru wrx on both games.  After you play them both you will soon see just how powerful the gt 3 engine is.  So there is is why gt3 seems like one of the best looking games on ps2 and even all the consoles.  Polyphony is kickass

So to answer the ? IMO  One of the best looking and best games on any console. (also note i own all the sytems.. easier to compare this)

well for me the best ps2 games are devil may cry
jak and daxter  man devil may cry graphics are awsome well
for me are and but some devil may cry fans agree and jak and daxter boy that game is so cool .devil may cry and jak and daxter
are lot better than portal runner graphics .p.s sorry about

Put Gran Turismo 3 in 2 player, and how great does it look?  That\'s right, COMPLETE SHIT.

Check out Rallysport in 4 player split screen and it STILL looks great, at 60fps no less.  Although it is very blurry.

Jak & Daxter is still the best looking PS2 game.

If you\'re talking about the game equivalent of Caprice then it has to be MGS2 :SOL.

Every screen you look at throughout the game, the cutscenes, in game. It even misted up after being in the water, pure class in looker terms.

the handeling system and playablity more than makes up for any of that

I\'ve only seen jaggies when I\'ve lowered the car to the bottom without any negative camber, the wheels like to come out the top of the bonnet (hood for the U.S).

I agree with ooseven, the playability nullifies all small glitches.

Oh and you can\'t slap Unicron with a fish, he\'s holding the matrix, you don\'t wan\'t to destroy the Autobots ultimate weapon against evil do you?!

Wait till Silent Hill 3 comes out, this game will set a new graphical benchmark on ps2!

I\'ve never even taken the time to look at a silent hill game, the last time I was tempted it was in the heyday of RE2 so I got that instead and then never got round to the other.

Have I missed a lot?

Well who wants to play split screen anywyas?  It is small, it is annoying.  Hook it up for 6 player on gt3.

I ll just slap him back with the Matrix.Its a lot heavier:D.

Besides it can not be destroyied that easily and only the chosen one can open it.

I think Baldur\'s gate is pretty, no jaggies that I can see. Plus, the lighting & water effects are top-notch. Ico looks nice, too.

Only bad thing about Ico is the low resoltion textures.

so far, silent hill 2 is the best looking game on PS2 or any console for that matter.
