Hitman 2 - Your Views
« on: October 07, 2002, 05:24:54 AM »
I\'ve just purchased Hitman 2 on my lunch break and was wondering if I\'d made a good choice.

I\'m the kind of person that takes pleasure in every single one of my kills and thought it\'d be a good alternative to the usual.

Just \'cause it saves hassle looking around elsewhere, when\'s TS2 released in the UK?

My wages are gonna suffer heavy casualties in the coming months, I just know it.

I\'ve only played the PC demo.. but its alot better then the first one.. I just wish you could pick up the bodies to move them. Rather then always dragging them. That\'s what i hated in the first one too.

Hmm, everyone keeps saying it\'s so much better than the first. I have to disagree with that. It\'s pretty much the same except it\'s a lot easier now, you get saves on normal mode and it\'s far easier to just blast your way through to clear the missions.

Personally, the first one was one of the best pc games i\'ve ever played. Beating it gave me an immense feeling of satisfaction seeing as so many complained about the difficulty and gave up on it (yes it was very difficult) but it all made it so much more gratifying when you completed it IMO.

Still, so far, Hitman 2 seems to be another stellar experience even though it\'s so much easier. It\'s got the same amount of style and coolness the first one had and the good ol\' gameplay. Have only done like 3 missions so far but so far so good.

I was playing last night, wow, just the feeling of walking past guards wearing their dead comrades uniform\'s enough to make your heart beat mentally.

The control method is a huge pisser as it\'s unchangeable (no legacy controls for me this time) but after a couple of evenings play I still love it.
