Anyone play Morrowind PC or X box version ?
« on: October 17, 2002, 12:28:01 AM »
i do (PC version)

Even though i know some people hate this RPG, i quite like it... ok i love it i can\'t stop playing the damn thing.

at the moment I am restarting with due to the fact that my main character is too powerful and as a result he can kill just about any creature or NPC with one hit (with out cheating or  boosting item’s like magic weapons or armour).

So I have restarted with a Nord adventurer, and I am still finding it a superb game.

Currently I have 3 characters (I’ll display my stats at when I get home)

Morgan Freewood (Male Wood elf , main character  Former thief now battle mage level 50/ 6 full sets of armour / 1 full set of magic armour (golden Pion armour) / 50 plus weapons (best weapon the 6th house longsword) /1.. level 2 Hlaalu manour / 1 temp hideout in balmora  ).

Kate Nadir (Female Wood elf second character level 5 “ranger” type high marksman skill)

Logan Stonewolf (Male Nord, adventurer/  warrior  Axe at 63 and only at  level 2 no magic items)

anyway does anyone else play this ?

if so please resond with your tales and tips.

Hmm... I love that game, I have it on both PC and Xbox... though I ussually play it on my Xbox, becuase of comfort...  I can do with lesser controls and a little more fog.  other than that the versions are identical.  the PC mods will even work on the xbox version ( if you do unmentionable things to yer Xbox).  I mess with quite a lot of them... I like being able to upgrade the signs textures nd sounds a bit.  Some of the mods add whole islands, though I had it freeze on the Xbox once while playing on a new area.

Other than that,  I wish i had more time to play... i am only 42nd level.  And barely anywhere in the actual story  (damned distracting sidequests)

yeah tell me about it ....

i was playing the Dread Knight (the Dark Orc plug in) for months

here is the description from morrowindfiles.com

Dread Knights

Description: It\'s bad enough the land of Vvardenfell has the blight to deal with- now there are rumors of a dark Orcish sect that have taken residence, and are slowly plotting their own rise to power. Unlike most Orcs, this sect known as the Dread Order tend to be more secretive, plotting for their moment to seize power. The Imperial Legion has ordered the destruction of the Order, but due to their secretive nature they are not that easy to track down. Whispers of their appearances are also marred by tales of quick slaughter. They are clearly a powerful clan, and a few choice commanders in the Imperial Legion are looking for a few good men to help track the Dread Knights down. On the other hand, rumor has it the Orcs are looking for powerful warriors to join them as well...

After finishing the main plot  my character was pretty strong too and I decided to kill every living creature in the game.
But I don`t have the energy anymore and Mafia came out too. Maybe I install it again when my new PC is ready and I can finally enjoy the full graphics.
