Sport\'s forum is pointless. I have to agree, you take away the sports and it detracts from the Off-Topic. The Sports forum would get some hits, but not enough to warrant its own forum. Let it stay in \'Off-Topic\', because after all, it is \'Off-Topic\'.

The sticky\'s don\'t bother me to be honest. If they stay or go it doesn\'t really matter. Eventually they will all run their course and get locked or removed anyway.

As ryu said, no one likes to read 200 page threads, this way we could just make many post in that one forum.  There are too many post pertaining to pro sports to have them all cluttered up in OT.

Well, that would deprive from the activity of this forum. Tell you the truth, half the topics I ever look at in Off-topic are sports-oriented. Being that I\'m quite lazy, I\'d probably just stick around there, and not even glance at the topics in here. If they\'re in here, I\'ll glance at other topics and post in them, too. It\'s just my mentality,  I guess. Not sure if anybody else feels the same way, but that\'s how I view the situation. You\'d just lose productivity in this forum.

What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

Im going with the masses in saying a sports forum is kinda pointless and will only be popular for maybe 5 days. I really dont even see the point of sports stickies. A popular enough thread will stay at the top anyway.
