Mini-review.
Sorry, I\'m sick right now. The headache is killing me. Anyway...
If you are a Dynasty Warriors 2 and 3 fan, this is a nice suppliment for your hack and slash need. Only now, the character to choose from are.....four. Yeah, four toddler looking warriors. Two girls, two boys. Each one starts off with one attribute : Fire, Wind, Ice and lightning. When you choose one character, he/she can pick up runes along the way to learn and upgrade other attributes.
Graphics are better than Dynasty Warriors, of course. It\'s the latest from Koei. Unfortunately, it doesn\'t have the same amount of enemies as DW, but I\'m not too far into it yet so maybe later it\'ll have more. There are no "gates" to refill the battle field with enemies or allies so don\'t expect to get 1000 kills. As usual, you\'re the only one making a difference in the game. The other three main character you didn\'t choose can by played by the computer or....three other friends! Yes, it\'s also a 4 player game!
EDIT : after playinga few more levels, I noticed that you do not get new weapons.
"Four players?" you ask? Yep. And expect a lot of graphical sacrifices to go with it. Koei\'s DW2 and 3 are known by some fans as "The Fog of War". And this tradition carries on.
Yes, my fellow, Dynasty Warrior fans...this is a button masher we all know and love from Koei. You\'ll like it...but not as much as DW3. Don\'t worry about the controls....they copied PS2\'s! L1 sets the camera, R2 blocks attacks...etc.
I\'d write more....but I\'m coughing like crazy now and it aggravates my existing headache. I guess I might actually have a fever! WHOOPEE! More time to play tomorrow! Calling in sick!
