oosevens dilemma (need Advice)
« on: October 29, 2002, 02:57:15 AM »
Ok I am going to do something stupid

Or maybe not

Before I start …I must state that I am 100% happy with Miss Money Penny (aka Susan) and wouldn’t think of doing anything stupid to endanger our relationship…BUT
I have been thinking about my last Girlfriend (Julie) who moved down to Leicester nearly 4 years ago,  anyway its not because I still have feelings for her I just want to have a  chance to chat to her  & to catch up on old times(I got her Email from friendsreunited)

Anyway I wouldn’t of though off doing this until now

You see recently I have started to have dreams with her in them , no sammy not those kind of dreams. but they have been about us talking and resolving a lot of lose ends.

Anyway I am at a loss of what to do should I contact her via email or should I just leave it ?

The bond mister needs advice !

p.s. i need advice so the thread is sticky for 48 hours (thats 2 days kopking ;) :p )

Only leads you to trouble and you will be in a stickier situation than this sticky thread.

Speaking of stickiness, why is this a sticky?

Sports lovers get called out for having 3 stickies at one time, then we get a ooseven I need help sticky :)

Oh well, works for me. I\'m not complaining. Either way, I don\'t have any help....so uh, don\'t do it, I think. Yeah. Listen to Vid and Chiz.

What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

I was wondering the same thing about the sticky.  I was going to throw a yellow flag for flagrant use of mod powers, but to each his own.  I was excited when I released the World Series from the sticky and now we are back to three again.

Just don\'t go.  It never helps.  Especially if you still think about her.  I have one X that I am fine with.  She came to my wedding and all is cool.  My other X I\'d never subject myself to.  Nothing would ever happen, but it\'s just not fair to my wife, nor myself emotionally.

Hahaha, yeah, well, that\'s probably a good thing. If it\'s all about tying up loose ends, that\'s probably good. Getting emotionally attatched again, that\'s where you\'d probably have to draw the line. Tie up the loose ends, and get it over with. Something along those lines might help. Then again, I\'m not really sure.

I hope Miss Moneypenny doesn\'t decide to log onto the forums and see what her secret agent has been up to.  She will be  and you will be :crying:

its cool i have a plan for that...

if she asks i will say that my ex is realy Sammy

that way the will think i am secretly gay.

Anyway the contact will/ would be purely plutonic ..as in no strings attached, it was just a idea i had because on of my old school chums gave me her Email address.

doesn\'t sound like much of a dilemma if all your trying do is say hi and catch up on old times. The dilemma is if your trying to score. Which could be the case.

He hasn\'t said much bad.  It\'s not like he has said he wants to go and give her a poke..

Everyone has dreams about X\'s..  It\'s natural.  But to strike back a friendship with someone that you not only have dreams of, but you still have feelings for is wrong.

Yes and No

Yes your right on the dilemma part

and no i wouldn\'t try and score, thats the reason why it ended, we just couldn\'t get on.

When we where together we argued a LOT but when we are friends we are best of buds.

the only possible problem is that it has been 4 years and we haven\'t seen each other since ... so sudenly saying Hi might be a bit award.

Well put

you see the strange thing is that nothing has sparked this off

me and Susan are going Superb

i am happy with my life (doing great at the moment)

and i have stop pinning after my ex long before i meet Susan.

and that was well over 4 years ago

hey maybe its my subconscious telling me not to worry about Susan, and she won’t leave me before the wedding or something like that. You know i have been planning the wedding and the pressure is starting to build(the money costs that is).
