ALmost no need to, you would be surprised how often company reps check enthusiast forums such as this to gauge what we want. Lurking around the boards and such. One reason why it is a good idea to conduct ourselves with some common sense.
On one of our automotive boards I frequent, the special vehicles development team has done just that. Offering us what we asked for(within reason) and took alot of our input on. We never knew they were lurking untill...
