NHL 2k3 is coming

Are there any hockey fans who are as excited as i am about this one.  All 30 goal horns, all arenas, repositioning goalie system, pinning players against boards....and more sliders than you can shake a stick at.

i love hockey games and im really good at them but i dont know enough about hockey to really understand everything like a golie poke check whats that all about

Unless it\'s online I can\'t buy it.  If it is, I\'m there and I don\'t even like NHL.  It\'s fun to play though.

if you have a crapbox...it has online play..not on GC or PS2 though

im still gonna stick with EA NHL 2003 again this year

I\'ve played both now.

- NHL 2K3: Best Hockey Game I\'ve ever played.

- NHL 2003: Worst Hockey Game I\'ve ever played. I wouldn\'t buy this game for $2 except to turn around and sell it off to some other poor bastard... It was an insult to have released that game and expected people to not get mad at them... I\'m not sure what the Frame rate was on that game but it lookedl ike about 5 FPS or worse... I had better animation on Flipbooks when I was a kid...

i agree with you that NHL2k3 is the best hockey game ever made to date.  Although, for the EA series, NHL 2003 is practically there best game they have put out.  How can you say it is the worst ever.

For one thing, the poor frame rate was beyond imagination. The images seemed to actually flicker as you skated along the ice. It gave me the impression of playing 2K3 were I to keep blinking every second...

NHL 2003 was in my opinion not only the worst Hockey game I have ever played [and I have played many] but has to be one of the worst games I have ever played [including Bouncer and Zone of the Enders].

Though I also thought Red Faction II was one of the better FPS of the year and Timesplitters II was not just bad but bad raised to the tenth power... I don\'t know how people could play that game either...

Bouncer...yea that sucked

Yeah, the problem I had with Zone of the Enders was that I took more time playing the Metal Gear Solid Demo then I did beating Zone of the Enders [and that fighting game bonus at the end... now that was that bad]
