Yeah its a paper map SSC :p

About the free roam, I\'m not sure what extras are included as I have not yet completed the whole game.

Damn Team Soho telling everyone to remove the game?!?!?!

Should be getting mine later today, it\'s 6:33 am now, Play.com usually give it day before or day of release.

Im happy to announce that I\'ll hopefully get the game tomorrow. I just ordered the game and it was sent today..
So lets hope my game does not get stuck with all these x-mas postcards. :)

Cant wait!

Oh and I have a question.. How many weapons are there? I\'ve found a AK-47 and a shotgun in the demo.. Are there any more?

Got it this \'noon (12.12.02). Can\'t say much about it yet though, cuz I haven\'t even made it to the warehouse. Til now I\'m a lousy driver. Kept on crashin\' til I went up in flames   :(
(driving left side really is having to get used to) Anyway, the production value looks really tight (which it ought to be at that budget and prod. time) Indeed it comes with a paper map of good ol\' London and a kind of card on which the reallife
cast is portrayed. The game does also feature a 50/60 Hz option in disguise, becuz ye can choose between PAL/NTSC mode. Oh, btw, the framerate looks good. For comparison I got F1 2002 from EA with it. Now THAT game features a horrible framerate !Ok, now I gotta master those realistic controls :bounce:

Ah damn.. This game is HARD! Poouh..

I’m stuck on a mission right now and I was wondering if someone could give me some help?

*SPOILERS*
I’m back at the warehouse after I crashed that prison transport.. Mark says he has to look for Alex, so I’m supposed to go up to Charlie’s office.. Problem is there\'re a lot of guards hanging around.

I got to the stairs (sneaked around the boxes and broke the neck of one of the guards) but then one of the guards walked down and spotted me.. Mission ****\'n failed :(

Am I supposed to hide under the stairs?

Great game btw.. Its way more mission based than the GTA games.

Ok, played it some more.... I\'m now at mission # 2 or 3 I guess.
The driving \'n stealing cars is getting better and better :wedge:
The only downside is that sometimes, due to the storyline I guess, the police are chasing you from the start of a driving mission. So, if let\'s say, you intended to not have that, by driving according the law and thus not rise suspicion -> you get chased anyway (probably becuz your \'mug\' has been on the telly and you\'ve been recognised while driving), which results in the hazardous racing in which one often crashes or bumps into anything. Also, about ppl b1tching about framerate and not-enough-cars-people-pedestrians-on the-street -> they\'re wrong becuz I bump into lots of pedestrians while driving.
So theirs quite enough \'life\' in the game version of London, which looks very good btw (yeah.. I\'ve been there in reallife).

Gameplay in shoot outs is getting used to as well. Slowly it\'s growing on me, but I still have moments when I get shot from an
angle by a bad guy  which I couldn\'t see or hear coming
The \'look-around\' camera (R2 button) is way more restricted than
it\'s counterparts in say, MGS2 or Ico. Especially when your character backs up against a wall in stealth mode like Snake I miss the \'look-around\' option. Aiming is done by tapping R1. In frantic shoot outs it\'s often a matter of tapping that button as fast as you can while shooting becuz otherwise Mark keeps aiming at the same baddy who\'s already dead on the floor while there\'s tonnes of other commin\'at ya shooting. So, to keep alive I tap R1 as much as possible and do the roll/dive move alot to. The rolling moving also increases Mark\'s speed a bit becuz his running really tends to bog down after just a few shots. Indeed it\'s a tough game. But I like it already :thepimp:  If you \'ave (haha that Cockney english !) the right hardware, you can have the game running in progressive scan mode. The game features that option.
While the story fits in the \'realistic\' genre, it does imo indeed have comedy/humour in it. But I think that\'s something not to spoil here on the board.:hat:

I tried setting it to NTSC but the image quality got significantly worse cuz of the lower resolution the NTSC systems use..

Anyways its a perfect port so why would you run it at 60Hz? :)

Anyone know how to make your own VGA cable? I wanna try the P-Scan thingy on my monitor :D ;)

I found when I played that mission I didnt need to hide under the stairs.  Simply go up and snap the next guys neck.

Its all about stealth :)

Ah thanks.. I got past it late last night..

I did hide under the stairs though (took the guy who stands by the door with me and broke his neck) ..
My pulse was pretty near heart attack level when I was running around on the 2nd floor :D

I just completed mission 8 now.. Best one so far :)

Stand next to a wall and Mark will lean towards it and regain health..

no, the X button is to back up against a wall to sneak around a corner. Only if Mark is hurt and he NEEDS more health he\'ll automatically lean against the wall if he\'s standing just close to
it.
