The Dragon Quest series has never matched Final Fantasy\'s American market. Final Fantasy is americas biggest selling RPG series. In japan Final Fantasy has never matched Dragon Quest market. It is the biggest selling RPG series in Japan. Suspicion about Enix and Square talking has been laid down ever since the realese of Dragon Quest 7 and Final Fantasy 9. Both companies continuously changed there release dates as to not obstruct each others sales. It is good market sence but strange to say the least.

And 007, Enix has never found it profitable to release in the UK and even less in Australia. You would not be that familiar with them.

Lol!

Even though FF series don\'t do as well as DQ in Japan.  They are sold in millions of copies.  In American, FF Series do way much better than DQ series.  Not to mention Europe.

Yeah, overall, I think FF has the upper hand in the global market in terms of sales and name regconition. A lot of people probably wasn\'t even aware of the DQ series in the rest of the world othe than japan.

Then again...I haven\'t play any DQ games myself.

The dragon quest games are amazing. I have enjoyed them since Dragon Warrior on the nontindo. But Final Fantasy has always been my prefered choice.
