I find Cloud kinda annoying. I don\'t like the cliche\' bad-ass RPG protagonist... I think having an outgoing/annoying guy like Tidus is good for a game. Gives it some flavor.

If FF7 had next generation graphics and the characters looked realistic(not superdeformed) I think you would have liked it more than FFX.

Infact i didnt even like Tidus very much, he was ok and all but theres no way he comes close to Cloud IMO.

Just keep playing FF7, you really start to feel for Cloud later on in the story and his character is one of the reasons FF7 is what it is.

...I dont know though, if you arent hooked on FF7 by now then i feel sorry for you in the fact that you might not finish the game. This is a game no rpg fan should miss...

for the record ... FF7, FF8, FF9 > FFX

...Even though FFX is still one of my favourite games. I guess that tells you how great Final Fantasy games are.
