Wells as we all know, Raw sucked.  This one looks good, hopefully it will have some nice gameplay.










I like how HHH has his hair pulled back in the locker room, but has it out in the ring.  Nice touch.

The original Raw was horrible, but it had potential.   I hope they build on that potential that was there in the first one.

Smackdown 4 is still easily the best wrestling game this generation.  Great game.  I hope R2 will have the same improvement over R1 that SD4 did over SD3.

These screens aren\'t really that impressive, either.

I thought it was a PS2 title when I first saw the pics.. not all that impressive for Xbox. BTW, IMHO.. AKI/Asmik\'s wrestling games are untouchable. It\'s too bad that they haven\'t made a next-gen WWE game yet.. because their 4 N64 titles were just plain awesome. They temporarily got me into wrestling in 1999!

I think they\'re working on that new rap/gang wrestling game for PS2 now..

The facial expressions are impressive, but other than that there is nothing to get excited about. The polygons and textures don\'t seem to have improved from the previous game. These could be early shots and the game could turn out to be much prettier, but they are all we have to judge from.

Gang? lol. Riiiiight. Someone obviously doenst know what hes talking about. First of all its called def jam vendetta and it has nothing to do with "gangs". (groups of people gang, maybe)

They always show the guys hanging around with their "posse", in the "hood".. all "ganged" together. Sorry? :)

Ahh Def Jam Vendetta.  Don\'t like rap?  Who cares.  This is going to be the wrestling game to finally put Raw, Wrestlemania X8, and yes even Smackdown\'s gameplay to shame.

Look at it.  It wreaks of the old AKI engine and with a touch of style from EA Big, it\'s going to have the kick in the pants that the series needed.  I am absolutely psyched for this game.  I thought that engine had gone the way of the N64, but this new game looks to pick up right where they left off.

The game features 15 rappers as bosses including guys like Method Man and the Ghostface Killah and a roster of nobodys as the go between guys as you work your way through the underground fighting world.

It\'s got over-the-top finishers, a solid, solid wrestling engine, and a roster of believable badasses.

If they mix in some create-a-wrestler, no matter how stripped down, I\'ll be back in wrestling game heaven.

If Def Jam Vendetta follows the trend in AKI\'s games (getting progressively better with each installment) then it\'ll be a must-buy for wrestling fans.. even if it doesn\'t contain WWE-licensed characters. Gameplay = god!
