Well... its true the Patriots did not make the playoffs, but this year is over for both of them, so not even THIS year matters.  The Patriots had their opportunity and went all the way, this year the Jets had theirs and blew it.

Baseball - fine...  you\'ve got me in one sport.;P

Football - Patriots on the whole are a better team.  More championships, and more recently some quality players.

Basketball - read my sig... 28 Hall of Famers, 16 NBA Championships, one legacy...

Hockey - Overall every season they turn out successful.

need I say more?

My favorite football team has been to the Superbowl twice in my memory, and won it once.

My favorite baseball team has been to the Series once, my second favorite has been there too many times to count, and won all but one of em.

My favorite hockey team has won the Stanley Cup in my memory.

My favorite basketball team has been to the NBA finals twice in my memory.

How many times has it been for your teams?

Man that sucks, the Niners cost me 40 but the Raiders won me 60. It\'s all good.
Don\'t try to confuse me with what you call  facts, my mind is already made up.

Two years in a row?

The D-Backs have been to the playoffs 3 times. First time being eliminated by the Mets. The next season they didnt make it. Then they beat the Yanks in the WS, then last year got eliminated by the Cards.

Hmm.  What was I thinking of then?  Meh, oh well.  We beat you once at least.  Oh well.  As long as Boston still sucks, I don\'t care.

New England Patriots - Superbowl appearences in 1976, 1996, and 2001, winning it in 2001.  Numerous Division titles to go along with it.

Boston Red Sox - Strong in the early going, can\'t say I\'ve seen them win a world series, but watched the homerun hit by Carlton Fisk in \'76 world series.  As well as the Buckner through the leg error :(.  Not a championship team by any means, but historical.

Boston Celtics - once again, let me quote my sig... "28 Hall of Famers... 16 NBA Championships... One Legacy..."  The best franchise in sports history.  Your basketball team what?

Boston Bruins - 5 Stanley Cup Championships.

pretty good resume...

But how much of that was in your lifetime.  Better yet, how much of that can you remember, from when it happened?  By the age you put in your profile, this is what I\'d think, and correct me if I\'m wrong.

Football: You can remember 2 Super Bowl Appearances, and one win.  Same as me.

Baseball: You can remember no World Series appearances.  No contest.  You were 2 and a half for the last one.

Basketball: You can remember no finals appearances, and no titles.  You were 3 for their last appearance, and 2 for their last title.

Hockey: You can remember no Stanley Cup titles in one or two appearances.  You were 4 for one appearance, and 6 for another.

I was born the same year.  In the same timespan, I have seen one more Cup, 2 more finals appearances, and equal number of Super Bowls, and countless more World Series appearances, assuming that you can\'t remember things from when you were 2 and 3.  And if you can, that only adds on a Super Bowl and a World Series for me in the same time span.

In addition: The Sox haven\'t won a title in over 80 years.  The Bruins haven\'t in over 30.  The longest it\'s been for a New York team is the Knicks, who won it the same year as the Bruins.  They also got to the finals twice in the 90s, while the Celtics haven\'t been there since the mid 80s.

And if you want to argue historically, and not in our lifetimes, you win Basketball, while I win Hockey, Football, and Baseball.

I\'m a Cubs fan. I win.

See Yuz.
What do Kerry Wood, Mark Prior, Matt Clement, and Carlos Zambrano have in common?

They\'re the pieces to the next great pitching rotation of our time, what else?

GO CUBS!

By footbal you are refering to the Giants, not Jets.  I\'ve got nothing wrong with the Giants, its the Jets I despise.

The Jets  would be 0 and 0.  No Superbowl appearences and no Championships.

Giants are just dandy.  Giants won 1 in 91\', and appeared in 2000\'
