I think a lot of people\'s posts on this forum scare the female members away. That\'s why we don\'t seem to have many female members any more. We should be nice to them and encourage them to stay, with the exception of ps2_girl/Sam-Lover etc. ;)

I pretty much stayed out of that thread, but I agree.  Newbie bashing really one of the things I hate on message boards, simply because I know how it feels all too well.  Just because someone hasn\'t been coming here long doesn\'t mean they don\'t have something just as valuable to say as you do.

As for suspicion, I think I\'m one of the few people here who just doesn\'t care.  If they need to lie about themselves on a message board like this, chances are they have enough problems already without me saying anything.  A little trust is always nice.

ontopic: i dont remember where, but i had a good idea. A newbie shouldn\'t be allowed to make a thread after at least 5, 10 or anyamount of threads. Alot of times they join, make a thread, leave. I\'ve noticed we have over 3000 members, I know of about only 200 that post frequently.

So?  Be glad that it\'s 200.  Trust me, you wouldn\'t want 3,000 active posters.  Besides, something like that could just discourage some people from joining.

I am on another site where there are between 250-350 people on the board all the time.  You post a thread and it is on page 3 by the next day.  I like it with just the few we have.

I know, i love only 200 more or less posters. But their are accounts that have been opened, and never even used.I just checked at least over 100 pages of members never even posted. Most of them joined within the same time span.

Cant you get rid of this? Would it make the forum faster? just curoious.
