someone is a bit thouchy about this GWB business.

Of casue we only know him through the media, but I guess you have meet him one on one may times ?!
I read somewhere that He had not been outside of the US before he became president, and if that is true its sooo scary.
Now his administration has said that they will consider using nuclear weponds if things get really ugly in iraq. That would take us back to 1945 and IGNORE 50 years of dipomacy to disarm and make the nuclear threat to world smaller.
I also think its really IGNORANT to say...let take the UN way,so they can pay a bit of our war, and it makes us look good, and if that doesn\'t work let IGNORE the oppinions of the rest of the world and go about it our self.

I admit I don\'t know GWB peronally, but I claim my right to have an oppinion based on the media available.

And that\'s exactly why your opinion is nothing more than a product of the media. It\'s sad that you didn\'t even understand what I was trying to convey before you allowed such dribble to come from that mouth/keyboard of yours. Nice to know where you stand though.

He didn\'t say he\'d use nuclear wapons if things get ugly. He said he would use them if Chemical weapons are used against us.  This is a threat.  You say these things to tell Saddam to not even think about using Chemicals or your country will go bye bye.

Do you guys not ever think about some of the stupid shit you say throught the day?  Or the stupid shit you\'ve done through out your life?  Imagine having thousands of people who\'s only job is to dig up dirt on you and expose it to the media.  Imagine having cameras following you all the time.

The presidency in the US is a horrible job.  There will never be a president who is perfect.  The perfect people would never be president.

It\'s nice to see that there are "adults" on this forum. Video, I agree with that statement entirely. I know peopl may dissagree about a president but to call him an idiot is just plain childish.

So, becasue I don\'t like your president to much I am now childish??

hell ya, I have done some seriosly stupid things in my life. But I am not the president. And I have not threatend another nation with nuclear wepons.

Don\'t you see that you come off as ignorant  for not letting people their own oppinion without calling them childsh.
Now that really ignorant "Anyone who doesn\'t agree with me or say bad thing about my president are childsh and ignorant"

I never call him an idiot, dumb..yes ;-), but that was just putting my feelings for him into one word.

But I really don\'t like him at all, and I am sorry if I in any way offended you by calling him dumb

You stake claim to an opinion that you yourself said was formulated by the press (media). Yet, you call me ignorant for saying that you are childish for the opinion you wish to convey. I am sorry if you think that I “won’t” let you share your opinion without being called childish. I simply would like to see somebody of your age group actually says something mature about the president using words that would not stoop as low as “stupid” or “dumb”. Criticism is a good thing when it is done constructively. You could take a lesson from Video; he is the only person that has interjected a mature comment in this thread. He did not glorify the pres. But his comment was thought out, unlike yours.

I for one find George W Bush’s & Tony Blair’s reasoning and motives deeply worrying rather than stupid, the whole point of a democracy is for everyone to have a chance to select their representatives to send for their issues.

Now what we have in the New world order oh sorry the US and UK administrations is a situation where there is little to NO opposition.

In the case of the UK the opposition are so inept that Mr Blair can almost act as European Present wantabe. His homeland policies are a joke (education, health service and law and order) and he’s spent more time on whistle stop tours for US than he has at Number ten and Westminster. Our once Great nation has decided into the hell of being a provincial state for the US and our relationship with our European neighbours has grown ever distant.

The title of Mr Blair being GWB’s lap dog is just a tad optimistic , from the look of the special “relationship” we are more of a fall guy.

Remember Mr Blair did admit live during a interview that our forces would pay the “blood Price” for any engagement that the US forces engage in.his very own words

in other words … its so that not all the body’s in the body bags are American

As for the US, here we have a President for the first time that has held office without the majority of the publics support, he only got in on a technicality rather than a show of force.

His home affairs are almost as bad as Mr Blairs, and I think he’s the only president who is trying to provide economic sweeteners to make people forget about the possible war.

International policy is next to non existent and is still on the basis

“Your with us or against us”

I am sorry but the world isn’t all black and white

His stance on Iraq is puzzling when you consider that North Korea is not only in breach of UN protocols on nuclear development, but they openly boast about it. Yet again here we are on the verge of a War of Double Standards.

Plus by current projections North Korea can be Nuclear capable in a matter of a couple of years and from their investment into ICBM development they can be capable of launch a nuclear strike on mainland America by 2015.

The list of Allies for the US is equally worrying never mind the enemies, Saudi Arabia for example have a appalling human rights record (they almost have as bad a record as Iraq), and as for the whole Iraq issue.. Then ask your self this who was it in the US Admin that Sold Saddam Weapons grade Anthrax?

The Current US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld sold him it just before the first gulf war , that’s who.

Anyway you might call me a traitor , you might dismiss this as a mindless rant, but  you can’t escape that this is my opinion on both our leaders and I am entitled to have it.

No problem at all with what you said man. It was in the least refreshing to hear what sounded to be a well thought up bunch of meandering. As for the Koreans having until 2015 to plan a nuclear attack on the US, at least that gives us some time to finish off Saddam before we go in and take care of them. As you know, I hate the fact that North Korea treats there own people the way they do. Just because somebody says something against the government in NK they are thrown into a prison camp. That is one government that I feel the world could do without. Sorry if that offends you but it’s my opinion.

"Well, there you go again."

I\'ll be honest, I have been sitting here trying to come up with a response to some of the statements here and I can\'t do it.

I will say that we will do what we need to do to protect ourselves and our interests. I say amen to that!

Hey Unicron! Why don’t you do us all a favor and post something wonderful about your fearless leader. Come on give it a try. Instead of bashing on somebody else’s president why don’t you do something constructive and post some information on your own country.

almost sounds like the end\'s justify the means.

Lets just say that the Whole Iraq crisis will never be truly resolved unless we punished the people who gave sorry SOLD the Saddam Dictatorship these weapons.

Guilty parties include Governments and arms dealers like  ..

UK = past and current MP’s + dealers
Donald Rumsfeld for selling him Anthrax
US = past and current , politicians+ dealers
France= “same”
Germany = “same””
Russia = “same””
China= “same””
Northern Korea = “same””
Donald Rumsfeld for being a @rse

I know I said Donald Rumsfeld twice, but hey the man deserves it, I mean come on…

Selling weapons grade Anthrax to the man described at the time as “the Butcher of Baghdad” wasn’t one of his more… wisest  of moves.

Mind you how was Donald Rumsfeld that Saddam might lie and use it to kill people :rolleyes:
