so its like the first one then.

i haven\'t laughed at a "Horror" film so much since.....well i would say Evil dead, but then again the Evil Dead films are Horror Comedy.

FD was billed as the Film thatwill freack you out, and when i watched i never saw so many people LOL during a film.

Esp at the Bus and train parts

hey are these films ment to be a spoof ?

or are they trying to do a "serious" horror film.

i hope for the directors sake its the first option.

The bus and train parts were mild compared to what the directors came up with this time.

Edit: Well, I just re-read your post. I think they are trying to make it horror, not comedy. It\'s just funny after it actually happens.... I dunno, but I just noticed that. I found myself laughing after most of the death scenes.... Weird.

It was because it was advertised as a film that will make you run from the theatre screaming.

And I was VERY disappointed with it, but as a comedy Final Destination is First Class.

Final Destination = Pathetic Horror
but
Final Destination = Funny film.

Esp the Bus part

Want gory? Go find Gunia Pigs Experiment 1 or 2, or Cannibal Ferox (real animal deaths) and the list goes on and on. You won\'t find true gore by American filmmakers, you\'ll need to start importing DVD\'s or finding Region 0 stuff.

Dead Alive is campy gore - its gore, but it doesn\'t aim to actually present you with a realisitic death . The movies I mentioned have one purpose. To out gore and disturb the viewer. Guina Pig Experiments is a two hour film just about an asian girl being tortued to the point she wants to die , yet they keep her alive.

Cannibal Ferox, while the human death scenes aren\'t all that, it goes about  using actual animals for death scenes.

With that said, Dead Alive is great and so is Bad Taste.

I laughed after almost every one of the death scenes.  The first one with the lottery winner was kinda sick, but the others were funny.

Just saw Final Destination 2...I loved it.  I wouldn\'t really call it a horror film.  You know people are going to die, the real fun is waiting to see how they die.  And yes, it\'s one the more gory films I\'ve seen.

Very creative situations for the deaths.  My favorite was the with the pipe...then the flying fence.

I recommend it.

They usual actual animals for the death scenes in Cannibal Ferox and Cannibal Holocaust.

There are at least three to four indiviual death scenes of random animals in Cannibal Ferox.
Not sure about holocaust.
