I know they are dying, but every once and a while a great episode comes on. Thats the reason I watch it.

Also, I\'m hoping they can fix it up and get back on track. Lets hope they dont make a movie...

The Simpsons are definitely not what they once were.  In my opinion, the "middle years" were the best.  Definitely some classic moments there.

Mr Burns to candy machine: Ah, a candy shop! Yes, I\'ll take one half-pound of Bristol\'s Toffee please.  And don\'t wrap it too tightly, I want to eat it on the way home!

The Simpsons suck nowadays the humour is so childish and low brow compared to the witty charm that it had once before. My favorite new episode has to be the one where the kids and skinner are trapped in the school by a snowstorm. Best line ever:

Skinner (in dodgeball sack): Nibbles your alive! Good, now chew through my ballsack.

300th episode, ie not seen it, but am from uk... i still watch the simpsons, but i must agree it is going down hill, before it had more subtle humour, and was funny all the time, with some big laughs, now it uses the same gags, and the joks are over the top, and kinda forced, so not as funny..


i do hope they do not make a film, i cant see 1 story working over 90 mins

there was an article written about the ten funniest episodes and only one of the top ten was made after 1997.  The other 9 were pre-1997.  It kinda shows how one of the greatest sitcoms ever made has quickly become yet another \'cartoon\'

yeah, i dont know why i watch it still, i watch a new episode, and im always dissapointed...... there story have no sense anymore, marge has breast implants, marge becomes a muscle builder.... like wtf
