We attack Iraq because they are a threat to us and they MUST be attacked... but if you live in Asia and your on North Korea\'s Sh"tlist then its just bad luck.

North Korea has fired a missile into the sea between Japan and the Korean peninsula just hours before South Korea\'s new president was sworn into office.

In what correspondents called a provocative move, the missile hit international waters in the Sea of Japan on the eve of President Roh Moo-hyun\'s inauguration.

Guests including US Secretary of State Colin Powell and Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi are in Seoul to attend the ceremony.

The incident prompted sharp stock market falls in both South Korea and Japan.

President Roh used his inauguration speech to urge North Korea to renounce its nuclear ambitions, the source of much recent regional tension.

meh.... if NK nukes anyone, that\'ll piss of China as well as everyone else. I\'m all for treating everyone eaqually, but its just not practical to be idealistic with NK. See, if Iraq gets raped, there isn\'t really much that\'ll happen. But if NK gets raped, China gets pissed off.... Add to that NK is going to put up a hell of a fight....

On the other hand, if NK rapes anyone else, China gets pissed off too. Thats not in the best interests of NK. I hope good ol Ill isn\'t ill enough to try anything stupid.

Well honestly, I don\'t think NK is stupid enough to attack anyone. But If they do, I think it will be when we attack Iraq... That way we\'d have less forces avaliable.

Crikey. You guys have no idea what other crap the N. Koreans have been doing in teh past 30 years to S. Korea. That one was nothing in comparison. How about....kidnapping a popular S. Korean movie star so the N. Korean leader could have a little poontang? Yeah. He kept her for 10 years. How about....Naval battle skirmishes with soldiers actually dying? They should change the “off-topic” forums to the “all about war and terrorism” forums or the “hey lets bash the States” forum. Better yet, it should be called “war and peace” forums. Will we ever get out of this rut we are in? Politics suck! Sorry, I just wish there were a balance between happy threads and war threads. I will be quiet now.

I say we go after NK first, set up a new government and get them bck on tehir feet, then go after Hussein. NK is highly nuclear capable and is the biggest threat so far.
